Opening Up

Chapter 3

Jessie's POV
I was being crashed into. It was Raymond again! My palms started to sweat and I almost lost control of the car. I quickly made a left turn onto the diners Road. But right before I was able to get into the parking lot, our cars collided. I could feel my body being lifted into the air. Only to be dropped down again. The grown struck my head nocking me a out a little. But not enough to not hear the gun shots. I could feel blood trickling down my right arm. I tried to like behind me but I couldn't move. Soon someone opened the car door. Please let it be Jenna, I thought. But low and behold it was Raymond. I could see the top of his head over the huge airbag. He cut through the airbag and pulled me out of the car. Just like before he held the gun to my forehead and started to put his arm around my chin and hold me there. Soon people from all over their stores and shops poked their heads out and started to stair. Soon I could see Becky, Dawn and Jenna's heads poke out. They all looked so in shock. Soon Lulu came out and screams.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER?!?!" He only tightens his grip on my chin and forces the gun harder into my head.
"Did you have a baby? DID YOU HAVE A BABY WITHOUT ME?" He half screams half whispers into my ear. I try to blink back tears.
"No, I didn't. Please drop the gun," I almost cried. Soon enough he yelled again and people went inside. I quickly saw the Dawn was calling someone. Good, she remembered the note. Soon enough Detective Danny came in a police car. He got out holding a gun towards Raymond, which was also pointing at me.
"Raymond, buddy. Drop the gun." He says giving him a stern look.
"Why? Just so you can shot me again!" He screams back, once again tightening his grip. Everyone came out again and I could see little Lulu out of the corner of my eye holding on to Jenna's leg.

Danny's POV
I don't know what to do. If I shoot and miss I kill her. If I shoot and do get him, he might shoot her again. But if I let him shoot her, then we could get the bullet out faster and save her.

Jenna POV
Suddenly, Danny pulls out his gun and aims it right at the sky.
"Raymond look, you can either shoot her and go to jail, let go of her and go to jail, or let me shoot you." Danny says trying to negotiate.
"I'd rather go to jail then die," he says. Quickly pulling the trigger and my head rings. My eyes shut and I see nothing.

Lulus POV (bet you didn't see that coming)
So now Jessie's on the ground. Aunty Dawn and Becky run to her. But not my momma, she just stands there. I try to run over and I escape my momma. I run over to see Jessie. I am fast. So I make it there before everyone else. I grab on to Jessie's hand and hold it. Then I whisper, what's wrong Jessie? But she doesn't answer.
