Kakashi's Wife

Kakashi.

After I lost my family when my clan was under attack by a rogue ninja, I had nowhere to go. My clan lived right outside the Hidden Leaf village under the heavy mist. We were in no way related to the Village in the Hidden Mist. My village was actually a small clan where my father, the head of the clan, had a forbidden jutsu to have the characteristics of all the villages in one. No one ever found my village because it was never on the map. We never had to train for combat in our village. It was that one unfortunate night that a rogue ninja attacked us. He put my whole clan under genjutsu. I am immune to the jutsu and so was my father. Though the people in our village were not. My father tried to fight the rogue ninja, he could not defeat him. He threatened to murder my clan if my father did not give him the forbidden jutsu. But giving something so beautiful and dangerous to some rogue ninja was not my father's intention. Being the only child of my clan, only I knew the jutsu after my father. And because I knew the jutsu, I had to have a marking on my skin indicating that I was the next in line to be the leader of my clan.

But that dreadful night, all was lost. My whole clan was destroyed. I was the only survivor. My father told me to run when we were under attack and asked me to meet the shinobi named Minato aka The Yellow Flash of the Leaf.

I fled from my land as my father told me to. It late at night and the city lights were out when I reached the gates of the Hidden Leaf  Village. The guards looked at me and asked why a young girl like me was wandering around at this hour of the night. I had never been out. Never visited the nearby villages. And most of all we were all hidden from them, I was scared.

"I am here to meet the Yellow Flash..." I said. Fear was written all over my face.

"Young girl where are you from?" asked one of the guards.

" I am not to answer that question. But please can you take me to the Yellow Flash of the Hidden Leaf Village."

Being the age of 14 I guess they thought I was a shinobi of one of the enemy villages.
Within a few minutes, a yellow-haired man came to the gate.

"What is the matter? Why have I been called to the gate at this hour?" asked the man with the yellow hair.

"Minato, there is a young girl wanting to talk to you." one of the gate guards informed the yellow hair guy.

"It is okay. I will take it from here," he tells the guards.

"You can come with me Erika," he motioned me to follow him. I walked behind him confused as to how he knew who I was. I wanted to ask him how he knew so much about me, but I kept it to myself. After walking for a few minutes, we reached a house. It was simple to look at. The Yellow Flash of the Hidden Leaf opened the door.

"Why were you called Minato?" a red-haired woman who seemed to be pregnant asked him.

"It's nothing Kushina. This is Erika, the daughter of Akhino, the leader of the Hanakoboto clan. Their clan lives right outside our Hidden Leaf Village. A very strange place to go. The weather is way different from the outside world, and the people are very shy. It is a well hid village." he told her.

"You must be tired, let me show you where you can get fresh and rest," Kushina said to me. I walked behind her as she showed me the way. After I had freshened up, she spoke to me about my clan, village and father. I told her everything that happened and that my father had sent to the Yellow Flash of the Hidden Village. She told me that she would be back in a few minutes. I could hear her speak to Minato, who left after their conversation.

"Are you hungry Erika?" she asked me.

" No ma'am I am fine" I replied.

"You have a very pretty voice. You should rest now."

"Ma'am..." I called out to her.

"You can call me oba-Kushina," she said.

"Oba-Kushina, I know that my father is dead. The rogue ninja who killed my clan was strong. We were never trained to fight in our village. We are peace-loving people. Though father did try to defend us, he had the village in genjutsu. Everyone was killing themselves or their loved ones. Father could not have defeated him alone. And if my father has trusted the Yellow Flash, I should too. I am the last surviving member of my clan to have the creating and destrying jutsu of this universe," As I say this i collapse.

I seen my father at a distance.

"You will never be able to tell about the seal to any person who cannot be trusted. I have put a curse mark on you. Sorry my child, but it is for your own safety. I love you."

I woke up with a start.
