Every day there are people that surround us
They teach and guide us through life
They are the people there that grab our hand as we fall.
We could have just met them or they have been around for years
They truly love us
They would do anything and everything to stand by our side and see us succeed.
True friends right there
The people we meet will show us in their actions.
Are they worthy?
Do they always have your back?
Are they honest?
If they can tell you straight up how it is
Then don't let go of them.
People who are blunt usually are looking out for your best interest
But they aren't just blunt, you have fun around them, they hold you up high
They love you with everything in them
No matter how many times you screw up
No matter how many times they screw up
You will never leave their life
Be grateful
Because sometimes that is one in a million chance to find them.
I am lucky to have three of them, one being my mom, another being my best friend, and the last one to be a guy I met off the internet
He became my crutch through the hardest time in my life.
When my father disowned me completely.
I'm happy he did.
I wouldn't be where I am now.
I wouldn't have met the love of my life
Nor would have I met my guy best friend (aka my crutch)
I am lucky
I cherish everyone in my life
I will hold the important people on a high pedestal
They are my family not by blood
Who I will forever be grateful to.
