Chapter six

He woke up in the morning cuddled against her pillows.

Remembering the note, he grabbed his shoes and slid them on just as he did at about 1:47am.

He was greeted with large grey clouds and an overwhelming amount of rain.

Holding the note and the book in his jacket, he ran as fast as he could back home.

But while standing, staring at the clouds he realized what the clouds had really meant.

He remembered seeing the pill bottles in her bathroom cabinet that night. And the collection of beer bottles on her dresser just a few minutes ago.
