Dear World,
She came over in the middle of the night.
My mom let her in and called me down.
She was bleeding and crying. I was angry.
She told my mom that she stood up to her dad and this is what he did. She ran here because she said that she had nowhere else to go.
I left. Grabbing a bat as I walked out.
I heard her screaming after me but I was too numb to care.
I ran, as fast as I could, to her house.
I took my bat to his car.
I shattered its windows.
I dented its doors.
I demolished his radio.
I watched him run out of his house at me. Screaming that he was going to call the cops. Calling me a faggot and telling me that I was demon-spawn.
I didn't care.
I smashed its lights.
He was getting closer now.
I closed my eyes and swung with all the anger I had.
I broke his legs.
I didn't care.
He cried out for me to stop.
I told him that I'd show him the mercy he didn't show his daughter and left.
Maybe he'll change his ways.
Maybe he won't.
But there's no way she's going back.
There's no maybe about that.
