Dear World,

They took her.

I had to bring her back home and they were waiting.

She flashed me a smile before they put us in separate police cars. There were tears streaming down her face.

I wasn't crying. I was determined to save her.

She was charged with running away.

She'd have to go away for a month.

I was charged with assault and battery, assault on an officer, running away, and resisting arrest.

My mom got the running and the resisting arrest charges dropped.

I still had to go for a month and then I was on house arrest.

Her dad filed a restraining order on me. I'm not allowed to be within 200 feet of him, her mom or her.

I'm fine with more time if it's to see her.

I need to see her.

I need to make her laugh.

I need to make her smile.

I need to save her.

Maybe I will.

Maybe.
