Just keep swimming

Stroke! Stroke! I touched the wall and stopped.

"1, 2, 3!" We all went underwater for fun.

"Maybe we should stop." Said Bailey. I knew it was to lose me. I was never wanted. The slowest swimmer, introvert, never wanted.

"You Always want to touch with two hands. Remember to..." I drifted off after a minute.

"Emma!" She called. I looked up. "You are doing really good with this drill. Why don't you demonstrate?" My heart paced. Me? Demonstrate! I did the stroke as I normally would do and swam to the other wall. Nena got behind me and said, "Can I go first?" I shrugged and went behind her, and then she asked Bailey, "Do you want to go second?" Bailey got in front of me. "Do you want to be third?" I asked. Meghan shrugged, and we just awkwardly stared at each other, until Coach started talking again.

"Bailey, I am going to have Emma go in front of you." She said, smiling at me. Oh god. Bailey looked furious as she got behind me. I looked nervously around. "First group, ready, go!" She said. Nena went, and I stood at the wall waited for Coach's signal to go.

"Ready, go!" I got to the other side and got out. I took my bag and wrapped my towel around me. I went home, ate dinner, and started cramming today's homework. Swim class was from 4 to 6. I started studying for a test that I had and went to sleep. I hope tomorrow would be a better day for me.
