First interview

A/N: Hi guys! I know I know it's been like FOREVER!!!!!! And I'm sorry. There's no excuse for why I haven't been updating but why is because I'm not feeling it but now I'm like why not!? So ya this is chapter 5!!!!! Enjoy!:)

Chapter 5: First Interview.

Aiden and Nyx were just flying around in a room we were in. It was a waiting room to see some person. The room had blue flooring, red and white walls, a plant and about 4 chairs.

Aiden tried to go into the office when Jodie stopped him saying:

"Stop it Aiden. It's your fault were in trouble. So cut it out!"

"Same thing to you Nyx. Cut it out!" I said.

We heard the door to the office open and our mom came out. "He's replacing doctor Matthews, he's the one who's going to take care of you two from now on." Mom said sitting down beside Jodie and me. She smiled at us but I could tell she was sad about leaving us, "He seems really nice. Go on, he wants to meet you two. Go on hurry up. I'll be right here sweeties."

We got up and walked into his office closing the door behind us. He had the same blue flooring and brown walls. His office was a mess. Papers and files were everywhere. There were 2 chairs in front of a desk while he sat in a bigger chair behind the desk.

"Hello Jodie, Misty. Come in." the doctor person said.

"My name is Nathan, Nathan Dawkins." he greeted. "I thought it would be a good idea for us to have a little chat, get to know each other a little better... That is, if it's ok with you of course." He said smiling.

Jodie and I walked over to his desk and sat in a chair. I saw a video tape being recorded.

"Girls, my job is to study strange... "Events" and then try to explain them. Like... the things that happen around you, right, girls?"

Jodie and I shrugged in response.

"Your mother tells me you have an invisible friend..."

We nodded.

"This... friend... has he been with you a long time?"

We nodded again.

Since you were born?"

We nodded

"Is he a ghost, or a spirit of someone who passed away?"

We shrugged

"Can you... draw him for me?" he asked.

We nodded. He grabbed 2 pieces of paper and 2 pencils and gave them to us. I drew myself and drew a line up connected to me than towards some random space and started doing a big squiggle thing and put a bow on top to resemble that my linked friend is a girl and wrote on the top "she's a girl". Jodie's was the same just with no bow or writing. We gave them back to Nathan.

"Mind if I take a look?" he asked

We shook our heads no. He grabbed them and examined them looking astonished.

"So... this thing is your friend... and is connected to you with some kind of... cord? Is he, here right now?"

We nodded.

"Can you tell him to do something?"

We nodded.

Jodie looked up to Aiden telling him to do something while I did the same for Nyx. Aiden broke his computer while Nyx threw some papers off his desk.

"You... tell them what to do... and it happens?"

"I don't tell Aiden what to do." Jodie said

"I don't tell Nyx what to do." I said

"No one does." we said in sync.

"They're like a lion in a cage." Jodie exclaimed.

"We're tied together." I said.

"They can't go away."

"That makes them really angry..."

"It's not my fault."

"We want them to leave to..."

"They can be really scary sometimes."

"Did they do that to you?" Nathan asked looking at Jodie's scars on her arm and my scars on my face.

"No." Jodie said

"That was the monsters." I said

He sat back...looking at us... Frightened.
