Chapter 8: hunted part 2

Jodie was driving as fast as she could away from the police. This reminded me of a movie, just how we were driving away from the cops. Anyway, after a few turns I heard a helicopter fly over us putting the search light on us. We tried to out drive it but we couldn't.

We then got to a bridge where I saw the SWAT team making a barricade on the other side, guns pointed at us. Jodie then skidded to a stop making me almost fall off.

"A little warning next time?" I yelled

"Sorry." Jodie said.

She looked at the barricade, behind us at the helicopter, then back at the barricade.

"No choice." Jodie said.

"What?" I screamed.

"We're going straight through." She said.

Jodie then revved up the engine of the Moyer cycle and started heading towards the barricade. She then crashed the bike with both of us falling off.

"Ahhh!" I screamed as I protected my face while rolling on the pavement. One of the SWAT team guys ran up and pointed his gun at us.

"Finally caught you." He said.

We were then put into a SWAT car, given a shot, and were being driven to who knows where, most likely the C.I.A base or something.

"This is Team Leader. Targets extracted. ETA: 0500." The leader said.

"Roger that. We'll be expecting you." A guy on the other end said. The team leader then put the communicator down.

"Nixie, get us out. Please." I said in my head.

"You sure they're not goona wake up?" A guy asked.

"I gave them a shot that would knock out an elephant." Another guy answered.

"Did you see what happened out there?! I mean, what the fuck!"

I saw Nixie possessing a guy.

"I don't know. I just don't wanna be there when she wakes up..."

Nixie then got the guy to reach for his pistol. She went for the guy on her left but he touched her, telling her to put the gun down. So close. I then saw Aiden possess the driver. He then stepped on the gas pedal to go faster.

"Hey, easy fellow. What's the hurry?" the guy in the passenger seat asked, going to put his hand on Aiden's shoulder, but Aiden made a sharp turn.

"What the hell are you doin'!?" He screamed as the car then started doing flips in the air and on the road, skidding to a stop. Jodie and I then climbed out of the truck. We held our hands up and Aiden and Nixie broke the cuffs on our hands. Jodie saw one of the guys and went up to him, grabbing his collar and lifting him up.

"Tell them to leave us the fuck alone, because next time, We'll kill everyone." She then pushed him back on the ground.

"Come on Aiden, Misty, Nixie." She said to us. "I think they got the message." We then walked away, with Jodie limping a bit.

A/N: there should have been an explosion as they walked away. Make them look badass. Anyway, I want to change Misty's name but I feel like you'll be like "who's this person?" Even if I tell you. I'm thinking of changing it to Amelia (Amy for short) Aya, Rose or River. But I don't know because it would be weird. Also, sorry for not publishing this book in a LONG time. I've been busy with school and I also didn't feel like it to be honest also updating my other book. This book just takes long because I'm going from YouTube to Wattpad and Wattpad to YouTube every 5 seconds. Anyway, let me know if I should change Misty's name and I'll update soon. I PROMISE. Bye.
