Chapter V - The day I fight for Kaori

We continued to walk across the hall, until we reached the doorway to the game room.
But we suddenly heard a weird noise coming from a distance.
Clllaaaannnggg...
Cllliiinnngg...
"What was that?" I said.
"What?" Kaori responded.
Kaaaannngggg....
Klllliiinnnggg....
"You heard that?" I said again.
The noise is louder this time.
"Yeah, but I don't know where it came from." Kaori answered.
As I continue to hear those weird noises, I pulled out my phone from my pocket and opened the flash light.
Kaori clings onto me like a scared little girl.
Okay, she's now hugging me, and I feel tickled. Yup, she's trying hug me.
"Ichi, do something." she begins to beg.
            "I am, but I don't know where that sound came from." I said.
            Kaori continued to stay behind me like a scared cat. But, she looked so cute everytime she's scared (Holy shit! I can't believe this!).
            We walked back and followed the sound. We tried to follow it, but we just don't know where it came from.
            I pointed my phone everywhere to look for the sound's location but I can't find it.
            "I think it came from there." I pointed out.
            "Ichi, are you sure?" Kaori asked.
            "I don't know, but I think it's coming from there." I pointed out again as Kaori hugs me.
            "And would you please stop doing that. You're too close, and I can't even point the light properly because your chest is touching my elbow." I urged her.
            "I can't, you know I hate things that bump in the night! And stop thinking lewd things as I hug you! You dirty pervert!" Kaori thundered.
            Kllaaannnggg....
            Keeennnggghhhh....
            "Okay, there it goes again!" Kaori hugged me tightly again.
            Holy shit, I can feel her chest touching my elbow. I can't stop this!
              "Never mind, just stay close. I'm gonna see what that noise is." I persuade her.
              "Ichi, be careful!" she said.
              Then we approached the darkest area of the hallway. As I point out my phone's light to the darkest area, I saw nothing.
             "What the hell? I thought it came here. I know I heard it, but I'm sure it comes from here." I tried to make sure.
             "Then where did it came from?" Kaori asked.
             After the clanging sounds, we heard stomping noises from behind.
            Thhhhuummpp...
            Thhoommmppp....
             "It's right behind us, right?" Kaori's voice shook.
            Then we turned around slowly. As we turn around, we saw two people approaching us. We thought it was a ghost, but the ones who were making a noise were humans. And these two strangers wear black robes.
            Who the hell are they?
            "Yare, yare. It's so hard to find you two. To be honest, we lost our way, and we made a few noises as we enter your mansion. This place is so big." the hooded man said in a tiring voice.
           "Oh, I forgot. I'm sorry for my rudeness." the hooded man said.
           "Who are you and why are you here?" I asked the hooded man.
           "Good question. We're here for your girlfriend." the hooded man removed his hood and pointed out to Kaori.
            Wait a minute, who are these guys? Do Kaori know them?
            And how did they get here?
           Are they after Kaori? Or me?
           It doesn't matter. Whoever the hell these guys are, I'm sure that they're pissing me off.
           "Why? Why're are you after her?! What the hell's the meaning of this?!" I thundered.
           Then the next hooded person draws her no-dachi out. Her no-dachi suddenly released waves of slices on me. The slicing waves almost killed me as I approach them.
           Ssshhhiiinnnggghhh....
           What the hell is that?! A Gear?!
           "Ichi! Are you alright?!" Kaori asked.
           "Yeah, I think so. Just who the hell are these guys?!" I said.
           "Go ahead! Take one more step and I will cut you down, piece by piece!" the hooded girl removed her cloak as she points her no-dachi to us.
           "Take it easy, Risa-kun. Attacking them is very rude." the man said.
           "As you wish, captain." the girl puts her sword back to its scabbard.
           We looked at each other for a short moment, realizing that we are now in a state of combat.
           I don't know who these guys are, neither is Kaori, but I'm sure that I'm gonna beat the hell out of these bastards.
          "Oh, right, I forgot again. How rude of me." the man chuckled.
          "By the way, I am Edward MacGregor. And this is my comrade, Tendou Risa. Nice to meet you, Takamura Ichiro and Ishida Kaori. Or should I say Demon Princess." the man introduced himself.
          Who the hell are these guys? And why do they know us?
