It happened when he was looking in a mirror. He had been tying his tie when he noticed something peculiar- he had gained some weight. It wasn't much; in fact, it was barely noticeable at all, but it still made him frown. He sighed and clicked his fingers, sending the mirror away.
He hypothesized that the weight gain was caused by the lack of precision in his diet, and decided that it would be logical to start counting his calories.
He sauntered in to the kitchen, smiling at Morality as he entered.
"Good morning, Logan! You look like you're in a good mood." Logan nodded once.
"I suppose I am in a rather content mood today. Perhaps it is because I am exercising a new diet and fitness plan today." Logan said, with thinly veiled pride. Morality looked at him, face full of concern.
"New diet? Wha- why? You don't need to lose any weight" he said, lightly jabbing at Logan's side. Logan recoiled slightly, uncomfortable with the physical contact. Morality looked at him, eyes filled with worry.
Logan flashed him a half-smile. "Apologies." He said quickly "but I am not one to be fond of physical contact."
Patton lightly shrieked- "What!? Since when?" Logan opened his mouth to answer, but Princey interrupted by banging the kitchen door open and and slumping into one of the chairs surrounding the kitchen table. Morality giggled, and Logan rolled his eyes.
"What is it now, Roman?" Logan asked with an irritated sigh. Roman flung a hand over his face dramatically.
" I made a mistake. I went to bed rather late last night. I made an audacious move and didnt put my sash back in its rightful place. Now I can't seem to find it anywhere!"
There was a snort by the doorway as anxiety walked it.
"I'm surprised that you even know what the word 'audacious' means, Princey. That sounds like a word Logic would use." Logan nodded.
"Affirmative. Audacious is indeed a word in my verbose vocabulary." Anxiety just raised an eyebrow at Roman.
"Okay, kiddos, enough arguing. Let's eat some pancakes!" Patton said with a happy squeal. Logan shook his head.
"Patton, as much as I appreciate the sentiment, I will not be eating any pancakes."
"What? Why not?" Roman asked, dropping the dramatic semblance.
"New diet." He said with a shrug. Virgil just scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"You know, your diet can affect a multitude of things, such as your energy, blood counts, hydration levels, and weight gain and loss." Logan said, walking to a fridge and pulling out yogurt, granola, and strawberries for a parfait.
"As lovely as that sounds, I think I'd rather takes pancakes." Virgil said, voice thick with sarcasm. Logan shrugged and headed for his room.
"Suit yourself."

It was midnight when Logan looked at the clock for the first time in several hours. He groaned, suddenly hit by the realization that he hadn't eaten since breakfast. He went to pull himself out of bed, but caught sight of himself in his mirror. He frowned, and decided that going one night without dinner wouldn't do too much harm.Boy was he wrong.
