"We're here! Frankie's Burgers!" Alice screams out a little too happily. The three of us head on in and find a table. "What do you guys want?"
"I'll have a cheeseburger with everything on it and onion rings with a coke." I smile. "Yeah, yeah. I'm a fat-ass I get it." Alice and Jessica laugh at my comment.
"It's okay, Kat. Guess it's the training that keeps you in shape. I'll have a traditional Caesar Salad, fries, and a Sprite." Jessica orders.
"Okay, I'll be back." Alice then leaves to go and order our food.
"So, how was last night?" Jessica asks.
"Oh, you know. We all just watched a movie. Nothing much." I honestly stated. Asher didn't give me much information last night or at least as much as I wanted.
"Ah-ha. Did anything happen between Justin and Alice?"
"I didn't see much. I believe that if someone made a move then Alice would tell us." Or would she?
Soon Alice returns who two trays full of each of our meals. Alice hands me my cheeseburger, Jessica her Salad and a cheeseburger to herself.
"So, tell me everything that happened last night, Alice." Jessica gets straight to the point.
"What do you mean? Nothing happened." Alice responds uneasily.
"Lies! Come on, Alice. What are you afraid of? We're your family and family tell each other everything. So, we'll ask once more. Spill." I speak up. There was no way Jessica I was going to believe that nothing happened last night.
"Fine, fine! You know that nothing big happened but something small did..." She trails off.
"Spill!" Jessica and I shout in unison attracting eyes our way.
"Okay! He kissed me! But only a peck. He broke away as if it was a mistake. It wasn't, right?" Alice admits, knowingly scared of how we would react. Of course, Jessica and I fan girl.
"Alice! He kissed you?" Jessica asks.
"Only a peck, Jess. I'm scared that I'll catch feelings for him again and then he'll leave me for the second time." Alice signs and picks at her fries.
"A peck is more than nothing. And, if he makes another move I want to be notified. He won't be leading you on to only have to leave you again. I'll be making sure he stays. Otherwise, he'll be walking away with no future of a family." I say in complete seriousness. There was no way that Justin could walk away from Alice. She's beautiful, smart, and strong with a strong will. Alice would be considered perfect to many so what was his deal? Was it Asher?
"I second that. There's no way he'll be leaving you heart broken." Jess says and Alice smiles.
"How are you and Kyle?" She asks.
"Good, I guess." Now it was time that Jess started picking at her food.
"Ugh, what did he do?" I groan.
"That's the problem. We aren't moving forward to me. We don't go on dates. We don't hang out often anymore since we started dating. We haven't tried to make each other meet each other's parents officially as each other's boyfriend and girlfriend. I was hoping we'd move a little, faster, if you know what I mean." Jess explains.
