I woke up to the sound of U2's Sunday bloody Sunday, as I do every morning. I let my arm fall over the side of my bed to reach the alarm and turn it off. The song was ended and my room fell silent, although I could hear the faint sounds of my mother in the kitchen. I sat up and crossed my legs, letting my eyes wander to the window. It was already light out and I watched the sun shine down on the beautiful green leaves that have been there for a Month now. I let myself daydream, thinking about school and my friends. I don't want to go, but I know they'd be disappointed if I missed today, I've been missing a lot if school lately. I swung my legs over my bed and stood up, its time to get ready for the last day.

Half an hour later I'm in the kitchen eating my tasteless cherio's and listening to my mom drone on about chores and groceries. I live for adrenaline and suspense in my life, and I highly doubt groceries nor chores will satisfy my needs.
"Alexandra, are you listening to me? you need too look after Jeremy tonight, I'm working late okay?"
I flinched at the sound of my whole name. Alexandra, what a stuck up name. My mom is the only one who calls me anything other than Alex.
"Yeah its fine" I said finishing up my cereal. "I gotta go mom, see ya"
I stood up, grabbed my backpack and lunch, and hardly heard the sound of my mom's goodbye before slamming the door.
