Chapter 3

*Hayes P.O.V*

"HEY SAM AND I ARE GOING OUT!DOES ANYONE WANT SOMETHING?" i heard that sweet angelic voice fill the house.

"Food!" we all responded.

We were all in the living room watching Live Free or Die Hard. Carrie and Shawn were on one couch while the rest of us were scattered all over the living room.

"You guys wanna go to the beach? Its nice there this time of the year." Carrie interupted the movie.

"Yas! I need to tan these breasteses!" Nash said putting his hands over this manboobs.(lol)

"Classic man!" Matthew high fived him.

"Ok then lets go!" exclaimed Gilinsky.

Jack turns off the TV and we all go upstairs to gather our stuff.

"Hey Hayes maybe you can find a girl to take herto the wedding this weekend." Taylor winked at me. I laughed uncomfortably.

I went into my room and slide on some blue swimming trunks and a muscle tank along with my flipflops and snapback. Ryder was wearing red swimming trunks with a muscle tank as well but he decided to go bare foot because he.said he wanted to.

We all meet downstairs and we decided since it was nice out to go walking...yeah not the wisest idea...

"OH MY HSZNCGH!!!! ITS SHAWN MENDES!!" we heard a girl yell.

"Run!" yelled Carter and we all ran for it.

There were about 50 girls chasing us. Since Carrie 'couldnt' run, Shawn carried her but surprisingly he didnt get tired. When we reached the beach only about 5 girls kept up with us. Shawn was nice enough, just kidding, Carrie made him take pictures with the girls that kept up with us.

"Ok guys now lets go have some fun!" yelled Taylor and we all ran towards the water.

I got tired after an hour of swimming around and doing chicken fights. We all decided to just play some volleyball. Carrie, Shawn, Ryder , Cameron, Kira and I vs. Carter, Taylor, Matthew, Nash and Anna. It was uneven teams but Anna was beast at volleyball but we have Carrie and Kira who are also really good at volleyball.

"You guys need one more person?" a girl around our age asked.

She had shortish blonde hair, green eyes and she was tallish.

"Yeah." Carter responded.

She joined his team. we started playing for bit then we stopped because the ball hit Carrie in the stomach and she couldnt play anymore. Besides i was hungry.

"What your name?" the girl asked me as we all sat down.

"Hayes, you?"

"Tasha." she smiled.

"You want to come with us to go eat?" Cameron asked. His arm was around Kira and he was drinking out of a water bottle.

"Sure!" Great.

"Alright then lets go!" yelled Jack.

We all got up and we walked to the closest place we could fing to eat. We went to Jack in the Box. After we ordered we pulled three tables together and ate.

"So where are you from?" she asked me as we headed back.

"What? Do i look like im not from around here?" i laugh.

"No. I probably would have noticed you if you did." she started blushing.

"Well i go to school at UW. Im just here for Shawn and Carries wedding."

"Awh. Thats cute." she smiled. I shrugged.

Shes actually cool. Shes 21 almost 22 so thats not too bad. She goes to a community college i forgot where andshe has 2 brothers and 5 sisters which is kind of crazy.

"Hey you want to come to the wedding?" i ask out of the blue. She lookedat me with wide eyes.

"Uh....sure." she stuttered.

"Ok well its on Saturday. Ill pick you up at your place." i swing my arm around her shoulder.

"Ok then give me your phone number." she opened her hand and i placed my phone in it. She typed then gave it back to me.

We finally reached the beach again and i walked Tasha to her car.

"Thanks Hayes for that." She hugged me. I didnt move but then i finally managed to hug her back.

"Yeah well ill see you Saturday." i try to push her off me a bit.

"Ok Bye." Sheet go and got in her car.

"Bye." i close the door for her and she drove off.

Well Taylor was right. I did find someone to take to the wedding on Saturday. I walk back to join the group and they were just having conversations.

"I think we should go back to the house and see if Alex and Sam are there." Kira said.

For a few hours, I actually wasnt thinking about Alex. Im really not over her yet. I know i keep saying that but its true. In three months its going to be seven years since i met her and since i asked her out. Just hope she gives me achance or something. She seems really happy with Sam. I should just try and get over her. Ill just hangout with Tasha and see if that helps...
