Chapter 6

*Alex P.O.V*

"I like this skirt." Anna held up a floral skater skirt.

"Yeah, its cute." Kira admired it.

"Then buy it." i say annoyed.

I know its not their fault that Hayes kissed me and thta Sam left but im just mad thta Hayes had to do that and that Sam just left like that! Hayes is a big screw up!

"Are you going to buy anything?" Kira asked me.

"I think Ill buy Carrie some clothes..." I trail off.

"Ok." Anna said.

I walked out of the store and i walked into Carters. I looked through the isles until i came across a little pink shirt that said Daddys Little Angel. I thought it was cute and it also came with little stripped pants and a pink baby beanie that said Angel. I bought this along with two other newborn dresses and two pairs of little shoes. I bet Carrie would like them.

"Alex?" i felt someone tap my shoulder,

I turn and see Hayes in Kakis pants a black Vneck and a black and blue snapback.

"What do you want?" i roll my eyes and turn back to look at the baby clothes.

" Why are you looking for baby clothes?" he asks.

"For the baby.." i say in a 'duh' voice.

"Wait, are you pregnant?" He turned me around andhis face was very close to my face, very.

"Why do you care?" I ask getting lost in his gorgeous eyes.

"Are you or are you not?" he snapped.

"It doesnt seem to matter since you made my boyfriend leave me."

"Ill be here for you if you need me." He kept getting closer and closer.

"Oh, so now you decide to be here for me?" i snap back at him "After almost 7 years you finally decide that you care about me now? Really Hayes?!" He backs away and looks hurt.

"Look Alex, im sorry.  I have lived the last six yars in regret. After i left your house the last day I saw you, i started thinking about what i had just done and i was so stupid for telling you those things." he looked hurt. "I just want to start all over again." he added.

I stick out my hand, " Im Alex Caniff." He doesnt take it.

" I didnt mean like that." He said.

Before i could say something my phone started to ring. It was Carrie.

"What crack-a-lacin cuz?" i answer. Hayes backs away.

"He knows now!" She nearly yelled.

"What did he say?" I am very impatient.

"Hes like really happy right now!" I can imagine her smiling.

"That great! You guys would be the perfect parents! Im jealous of your baby." I laugh.

"Yeah, well when are you guys coming back?"

"I think i might leave soon actually." I look over at Hayes and his head shoots up and he looks at me.

"Ok. See you guys soon."

"Bye" i say and i hang up.

"Ill see you later Hayes." I say and i walk away.

"Will you give me a ride?" He asked.

"Didnt you come with Ryder and Aaron though?" I question as i walk up to the check out to pay for all the stuff.

"Well yeah but can i ride with you?" he asked again.

"I have Kira and Anna with me."

"No you dont. I saw them leave like 10 minutes ago." He laughed at me.

"Fine." I roll my eyes and pay the cashier.

"Congradulations!" she handed me the bag of baby clothes.

"Oh, this is for my friend not me." I tell her.

"Oh sorry. I bet you and your boyfriend would make good parents some day too." He blushed out of embarassment.

"Hes not my boyfr-" i start and get interupted.

"I think we will too." Hayes started smiling.

I roll my eyes and exit the store. Hayes following right behind. I get into the drivers seat while Hayes gets into the passanger seat. The car ride was long and silent. I turned the music on and since it was Thursday they were doing a tbt theme and guess what song was on...

Right There.

I turned it off.

"Why did you turn it off?" Hayes asked me and he turned it back on.

"I dont like that song."i flattly say.

"Sure you dont." He sarcasticlly said.

He did not turn it off or changed the station and he sang along to the whole song.

We finally got home and i rushed in. Everyone was in the living room talking and watching Tv or on their phones. I run upstairs to Shawn and Carries room. I knock and i hear Shawn say to come in. I open it and see Carrie and Shawn sitting on their bed.

"Hey, i got you guys some things." I hand them the bags.

"What is it?" Shawn asked.

"Open it." I demand.

"They are so cute! Shawn look at this!" Carrie took out the small little dress. "Thank you so much." Carrie gave me a hug.

"No problem." i hug back.

I see Shawn just looking at the baby clothes and smile down at them. Holding the dress and looking at how small they are.

"I can imagine her. This small and looking just like her momma." He smiled.

"Well im going to go downstairs and leave you two here alone." i say.

"Ok. thanks again." Carrie smiled.

i leave and right when i get out Hayes is right there.

"So Carries having a baby?" He smirked.

"No..." I lie.

"Yeah. You went in there with newborn baby clothes and come out with out it."

"Well dont tell anybody." I say

"I wont." I start to walk away but he stops me.

"You want to watch a movie with me? Like in my room?" He asked.

"No and you need to stop being so close to my face." i push him away.

"Sorry." he scratched the back of his neck.

I trun around and head downstairs and sit next to Aaron who was on the couch.

"Hayes bothering you again?" He chuckled. I nod.

He throws his arm around my shoulder and we watch some Tv. Hayes comes down and walks to the door.

"Where are you going?"Cameron asked him.

"Im going to take Tasha somewhere." He said and left.

Im not getting jealous, Im not getting jealous, Im not getting jealous.....yes Im getting jealous.

"Dont worry. He'll be back for you." Aaron whispered.

I give him a fake smile and nod.

Hey ok so i was thinking,

The most number of votes ive gotten on one chapter was 17 votes and i want to break that record and i was wondering if you guys could help me?
