Your POV
After the Trey and Kyree situation I just decided to stay away from them so I got up and took a shower and put on this (outfit in the mm) I grabbed my bag and walked out of the house so I could get to school on time
School 🏫
As soon as I got to school I saw Kyree talking to that girl that I saw at his locker yesterday and I couldn't find Trey. I walked to my locker and sadly it was next to Kyree's 🙄
"Hey Yn" Kyree said
I ignored him and continued on opening my locker
"Hi I'm Kyree's girlfriend Kelli" the girl said trying to make conversation with me
"I don't care" I said finally opening my locker and grabbing my books putting my bag inside
"B-" before she could finish I slapped her and walked away

I walked inside the classroom and took my seat which was next to Trey 🙄 gosh let me pray that this doesn't end up badly or something
"Alright class you have a science project that'll be due in two weeks. I'll be picking your partners" the teacher said

I looked up at her like she was stupid or some shit I have to work with Trey like bitch what
"So you wanna work on the project at my house or yours?" Trey said
"We can work on it at your house" I said
"Alright I'll see you after school" Trey said
"Yeah" I said mumbling a little bit
Lunch Time 🥗
I walked through the lunch line grabbing pizza, ice cream, chips, a juice, and a salad. Once I got out of the line I was met face to face with some boy and he looked really cute to me like damn.
"I uh h-hey" I said smiling like an idiot
"I'm Uh...uh" he said smiling back
"I'm Yn" I said
"Keith" he said
"Well Keith I guess I'll see ya around" I said almost walking away until he grabbed my waist
"Can I Uh get your number" he said looking nervous as hell
"Yeah sure" I said putting my food down and writing my number on his arm
"Okay. I'll see you later" Keith said smiling
I waved and walked away to the table that I sit at with Trey and our other friends: ar'mon, summerella, Sevyn, Chris, Ariana and Jaden
"Girl what you smiling for?" Summer said
"Nun y'all" I said taking a bite of my pizza
"Is it a boy" Sevyn said making googly eyes and shit
"YES! Damn y'all" I said trying not to smile
"Girl, Who is it?" Summer said
"His Name is Keith" I said
"Keith? Wait is it fine ass Keith from our calculus class" Summer said
"I don't know. I just met him a few minutes ago" I said
"Is he cute?" Summer said
"Summer...stop" I said not wanting to answer anymore questions
"My bad girl" Summer said
I looked up and Trey was staring at me like damn can I get my face back
Trey's POV
Great here's another new boyfriend and I'll be stuck as her 'best friend' I love that girl and maybe it's gonna take me finding someone for her to notice me. I'm tryna find me a girlfriend or something but let me focus on this project that I have to do with her.
After School/Trey's house 🏡
Me and Yn walked upstairs to my room and started talking about we should do for our project, well that's what she was talking about
"Do you like that Keith guy?" I said
"I don't know, I just met him today so I don't really know how I feel about him. We're friends I guess" she said shrugging her shoulders
"Okay. I just don't want you to get hurt or anything" I said
"Awe Trey that's so sweet. Your a great best friend" she said pulling me into a hug and kissing my cheek
"Thanks Yn" I said trying not to be sad at the fact that she called me her best friend, I feel like I just got friend zoned or something
"Alright so we'll finish this up tomorrow. I have to get home" she said standing up leaving my bedroom
After a while my mom walked into my room and she was just staring at me
"You should tell her" my mom said
"Ma she basically just friend zoned me a few minutes ago" I said
"What do you mean?" She said sitting on the edge of my bed
"I asked her about this boy Keith she was talking about today at lunch and I was asking her how she feels about him and that I don't want her to get hurt. She gave a kiss on the cheek and said that I'm a great best friend, see ma that means that she doesn't think of me as boyfriend material or something" I said
"Now I don't think she meant it like that Trey she probably does like you or something. Don't stress it please now I'm gonna cook dinner you just finish up your homework" my mom said standing up and leaving
I sighed and grabbed my book that I put my music stuff in and started writing some stuff down

After I wrote those words down I closed the book quickly and put it under my pillow waiting for whoever was on the other side of the door would come in
