"Nah. I just got finished doing a show in Ashbury Park, NJ. I'm heading to...Manhattan in a couple of hours though" I said looking at her
"Make sure you get me something from there and where you at right now" Yn said

"She's okay. She stops by every once in a while" Yn said
"Does she talk about me?" I asked
"No. She doesn't even want me bringing up your name anymore or anything that reminds her of you she either threw it away or burnt it" Yn said
"Oh. Well I'll call you tomorrow or whenever I have time. Tell summer I love her and I mean it" I said
"Okay I'll tell her. I love you chris" Yn said

Your POV
"Who was that" Mateo asked sitting next to me
"That was chris" I said
"Ah. So what's going on with him and summer, are they gonna get back together" Mateo asked
"I don't even know. Chris said he wants me to tell her that he loves her and that he means it. I just want them to fix this ya know but they can't if chris is doing shows in every state" I said
"Listen they'll work things out you just have to give it some time everyone is going through something. Chris is on tour and away from summer, Jaden and Sevyn are about to have a baby. Then it's just us" Mateo said grabbing my hand
"I'm so glad your not crazy like how you were before" I said
"I know. Listen Yn, can I talk to you" Mateo asked
"Yeah sure. You okay" I asked
"Yeah. Uh I know I used to be crazy and tryna stalk you but when you forgave me it opened my eyes. I wanna be with you Yn, I wanna be able to call you my girlfriend and know that I'm the one who won the race this time. Any guy would be lucky to have you, but all those guys before me were assholes you kept going after the wrong guys because you thought they were the one for you. I can't go a minute without thinking about you or trying to figure out how I'll make you laugh the next time I see you" Mateo said
I looked at Mateo smiling not knowing what to say I mean we have been getting close to each other I just don't know if I should give him a chance or not
"Huh" I said
"I've been calling your name for nearly 10 minutes. You were just staring off into space" Mateo said
"Oh sorry" I said looking down
"It's okay. Hey stop doing that" Mateo said with his finger under my chin making me look at him

"Listen you don't have to answer right away. Just...think about it, okay?" Mateo said
