Summer's POV
I felt someone tap on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Freddie. He sat down next to me.
"If it makes you feel better, I don't agree with them".
"You don't"?
"No, I'll always be on your side".
I smiled. I felt a little better knowing that someone is on my side. Then he turned serious. He took my face gently and wiped my eye.
"Your eye".
I covered my black eye with makeup, so when I started crying, it went away. He can see my eye!
"Who gave you the black eye"?
"Nobody, I ran into a door, you know how clumsy I am", I lied.
"Okay".
I'm glad that he believed me, if he found out then I would face the wrath of Asher.
Freddie's POV
I know she's lying but I decided to leave it alone.
"You ready to go back to the classroom"?
"Yeah, I just gotta cover my eye up with makeup, it's embarrassing to tell people that you ran into a door".
"Okay, I'll see you then sunshine".
She smiled at my little nickname I gave her. We went our separate ways. I went back into the classroom with everyone staring at me. I ignored them and sat down. Mr. Finn continued his lesson.
Summer's POV
I finished with my makeup and exited the bathroom. I ran into someone.
"Sorry".
It was Asher.
"Hey babe".
"Hi".
He kissed me.
"What's wrong"?
"Nothing, I'll see you tonight".
"Okay".
He kissed my cheek and left. I went into the classroom and everyone looked at me and then looked away. I sat in my seat next to Tomika and try to focus on the lesson.
