(OKAY.

~~

It was ready.

Finally, after days of preparation, more than 12 but less than a couple of months, the Masquerade ball was all set up, ready. The cold nipped at everyone else, all walking into the brightly lit up red Christmas lights. A couple fires were lit up around the place, neatly contained into the little wooden pits, filling the air with its smell. Stars stretched across the sky and snow littered the ground. The aquamarine oceans were now calmly churning violet-blues. Finally, the ball, the festival, was beginning.

"Petra! Where's that one dress Olivia got for you?"

"Nope! I am NOT wearing a dress." Petra ran from the bathroom into the living room. Jesse groaned.

The sky was a darker violet which speckled clouds in the sky,, and bustling lights and people talked excitedly from outside. Jesse and Olivia were currently near the beach in the Youtuber's cabin, getting ready.

They were to go to the festival, then meeting up with Joey, Tana, and the other Escape the Night guests, enjoying the festivities and games until the main event where they would host as guests of honour. The main being the Order of the Stone, and the guests being the secondary hosts of the event, most likely helping out mainly the murder mystery event. They would attend panels, help decorate the big fern green tree in the middle of the festival, and other stuff.

Then they'd go back to the cabin to sleep over before morning.

But for now, they were all at the cabin getting ready for the event.

Jesse beamed to herself inside. Excitement flooded in through the Ender Defender warrior.

"Well I don't either but that dosen't mean I don't have to!" Jesse called back, groaning. She brushed aside her lazily brushed out dark chocolate brown hair, short, up to her shoulders, with a bright red streak in. She had gone with a simple bright teal blouse, some dress black pants, and a couple of bright turquoise boots, kind of identical to her ender defender armor.

And it was actually really nice. Made especially by Lizzie, it felt great to be in her aquamarine colour clothes again, if not her armour at all.

"OUTTA THE WAY PLEASE!" Justin screamed, shoving Jesse aside and examining himself in the mirror, wearing a blue-grey suit-shirt, silver buttons, and black pants, much like his own Star Shield armor. "Do I look okay? Did I miss anything? Why can't we just stay home and watch movies in our pjs??" He whimpered, looking at Jesse, about to cry.

A wave of sympathy washed over Jesse, and she hugged Justin tightly. "Don't worry," she reassured him. "As soon as we get home, we'll watch all the movies you want. We'll only spend a couple of hours there, anyway."

"R-really?" The smaller tan-skinned boy asked. Jesse grinned. "Why wouldn't we?"
