DAY FIVE - WARMTH
Type - Rhyming (I'm kinda bad at this but *shrugs*)
Plot - Basically, the plot of this one is an AU where Jesse and friends of mcsm are a pirate crew and I ACTUALLY LOVE THIS IDEA SO MUCH YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND.
They set a quest
Among a star
Their maps
Their flags and jars
The terra cotta cabins
With blankets galore
A steady stern
Anything but a bore
The captain
Brave and true
Setting out an odyssey
A brave thing to do
"What's the occasion?" One of the crew asks
The captain stands, and simply laughs
"Young man, we've been here
Sailing for days
An endless expanse
Of aqua blue waves
Aquamarine
Grand and pristine
It's beautiful, but we have no place here
We're meant to be out there, exploring the seas
For something more than an ocean breeze
I can guarantee you, there are other expanses
Meadows, lush forests, and people at glances
We can go home
Whenever you desire
But first I believe we must add to the fire
That's burning within us, a smoky navy blue blaze,
Of ashes, to see other places for a while, in a great daze
I believe that we'll find peace
In knowing we've seen
All there has been on the Seven Seas,
Not just teal and pristine."
And with that, the whole crew (although the number was only 3,)
Jumped out of their chairs,
Looking so happy, clapping, feeling cheery,
For this pirate, this captain, only age of 17,
Had reduced her crew to cheering
No edge of grief, but mean-
-meaningful words that set her heart ablaze
