Y/n pov

I felt a rush of wind go through my h/l h/c locks as I hopped from roof to roof with jake (a random person also your running partner)rushing to get to the new drop of antizin before Rias's group of goons get there.

I look straight ahead and a zombie pops out of no wear i quickly whip out my pistol from its holster and shoot it right in its left eye "bullseye" i wispered to jake and he laughed, we carried on running that's when I thought about Brecken and how he was gonna be pissed at us. Jake and i did go against his orders so

I grab my hatchet and jake grabs his crowbar when we finally get there the goons are walking up to the crates but before they get it open I jump down and kill all three of them

jake then bust the case open we look at each other faces beaming we stuff it in our bags and set on our way back to the tower it takes two hours at least to get back, we sped up a bit

But suddenly around 40 zombies came down an allyway we ran and just as jake fell a few zombie lept on him and bit into his throat (r.i.p he served his Time in the story well)

"G-g-go y-y/n" he chokes out i grabbed his bag of antizin and i started sobbing as I ran

I was still sobbing from jake's death he was my bestfriend we've know each other since we were born, our families were know as friends for years all I want right now is to cuddle with my boyfriend Brecken

As I slowly walk to the hospital space we have in the tower I wonder what would of happened if I hadn't of gone on the run and a voice pulls me out of thought "y/n.....y/n are you ok" it's lina "y-yeah I'm fine I have the antizin" she nods as I stand there "tell me what's wrong" she orders in a motherly tone

"Jake's gone, his throat was ripped out and I couldn't save him" I said sobbing she pulles me into a tight hug after five minutes she let's go

I walk out trying not to cry even then I already had, I was emotionally and physically tired

I walked over to the elevater so I could go to Breckon as I get out I see crane "hey y/n were ya goin"

"Hey crane and I'm going to see Brecken" he froze "y-you c-can't" I gave a hard glare "never mind you deserve to know he's an asshole anyway" he walked away what the hell

I carry on my journey to his office/room and think "what the hell did crane mean ' I deserve to know' like wtf did he mean" I push through the unusual crowd in the tower I run to his office I freeze when I hear a little moan I put my ear to the door "oh year Bracken right there" (I'm cringing rn)
