He is by far my favorite character design in Haikyuu!! Like does he have dark hair with white streaks...or white hair with dark streaks? Guess we'll never know. Anyway here's some fluff. Enjoy!
"Hey hey hey y/n! Why do ya look so glum?" Bokuto asked you leaning against the shoe lockers next to yours. You groaned and slammed you locker closed after taking your shoes out.
"I just got my midterm grade...I have a B minus in English." you said, your voice coming out strained and quiet.
"That's great though! You should be proud of yourself y/n. My grade isn't too hot either!"
"Yeah but you always end up getting a good grade by the end of the class! It's just not what I want to have in the class by the end of the year...that's what I'm afraid of. I have a lot of work to do." You said, as you bent down and tied the laces of your black sneakers. The thought of even more studying was already making you feel exasperated.
Bokuto hummed to himself before gasping out loud. "Y/n! I have a great idea...we should go to an amusement park! I don't have volleyball practice today so we could go now. Wouldn't that be fun?"
You sighed in frustration. "I just said I have a lot of work to do Bokuto."
"And you will work hard...later." He replied, his amber eyes gazing at you intensely. You could never say no to him when he was looking at you with such intensity. It was overpowering.
"Alright alright. I just hope it's not too crowded."

Holy crap! There are so many people!!
Your thoughts immediately became scrambled at the sight of the crowds of people standing in lines and rushing around the park. But Bokuto didn't seem bothered by the crowds at all, and he reached down to hold your hand in his. He pulled you forward slightly and led the way through the horde.
"Bokuto...which ride I we going on--"
"The roller coaster! We definitely need to start off strong don't ya think?" Bokuto asked, giving you a bright and wide smile. Despite his cheerfulness which was usually infectious, you could feel your stomach clamp up and your mouth go dry. "Y/n? Are you ok?"
"Yeah! Um...actually can we start off small instead? What about the mini roller coaster?"
"The one that the little kids use? It only goes like two miles an hour though."
You sighed in relief at the thought of a low-speed roller coaster ride. "Yes, that's a good thing Bokuto. Plus I ate a lot for lunch today, and I don't want to throw up in your hair because I know it takes you a long time to style it and I wouldn't want to just--"
"Pfft, y/n...are you by any slim chance...scared?"
"...W-What? Scared!? Of what! I-I-I don't...why would you even...maybe you're scared and you're trying to trick me into thinking I'm scared. Well, I won't fall for that Bokuto!" you replied indignantly, and Bokuto laughed heartily clutching your hand tighter.
"I know I'm not scared y/n. But it's alright if you are...we don't have to--"
"No! I-I'll be fine Bokuto. Let's go on the regular roller coaster...it'll be fun."
...
"Make sure to never take mess with your seat belts, and do not take anyone else's seat belt off of them. We don't want any messy accidents here." was the first thing that the employee at the ticket line told you and Bokuto.
You groaned and squeezed Bokuto's hand. He looked down at you, his amber eyes softening with worry. "Y/n...we don't have to--"
"We've made it this far Bokuto. Maybe it won't be so bad."
"And there have been accidents on this roller coaster, and I'm obligated to tell you all that." the employee said as if he was stating an obvious and boring fact.
You felt your mouth go dry, but before you could ask him what kind of accidents happened Bokuto grabbed your hand and led you to a seat. Either he didn't listen to what the employee said or he just didn't care, because he still kept on smiling even when he was buckling himself in to the clunky metal death machine.
He helped you fasten the buckles and pull down the harness, locking you into place.
"Alright everyone, keep your hands inside the car at all times or else..."
Or else what!? Why the hell did I do this!? This is worse than when I had that sushi at the gas station!
"Bokuto...babe...I don't think--"
But before you could finish your sentence the roller coaster revved up and began to slowly inch its way forward on the uphill incline of the track.
You clenched your fists together, closed your eyes, and gritted your teeth as you prepared for the worst. You could hear Bokuto say something but you were too wrapped up in your own thoughts that you didn't process what he said. Until he repeated it.
"Don't worry y/n! My love for you will protect you...it'll be like the biggest shield ever!"
"Don't tell me you love me on a roller coaster Bokuto!! A-AAAAHHHH!!" you screamed out as the roller coaster dipped down forcefully and picked up incredible speed. You yelled and screamed at the top of your lungs, until your throat felt sore.
You cracked open your left eye to see Bokuto smiling and laughing cheerily as if he didn't have a care in the world. For some reason...seeing him like that...seeing him so happy managed to calm down the butterflies in your stomach.
The roller coaster made an incredibly sharp turn and you squealed. "Bokuto!! I LOVE YOU TOO!"
"DON'T TELL ME YOU LOVE ME ON A ROLLER--HOLY CRA-A-A-AHHHHH!!" Bokuto yelled as the roller coaster dipped down again at breakneck speed. You laughed in spite of your tremendous fear, glad that you both agreed that a love confession on a roller coaster was never a good idea.
...
"Hey hey hey...just so we're clear...you do love me right?" Bokuto asked you once you two got off the roller coaster death machine. Despite the shakiness in your legs, you were managing to wade through the crowds of people very easily. You wanted to go on the spinning cups next and nothing was going to get in your way!
"Let's go to spinning cups Bokuto! And yes of course I love you. I'm just sorry I told you on a roller coaster..." you said, your voice trailing off as your cheeks began to burn from embarrassment.
"It's fine...I did the same thing y/n...but the roller coaster was pretty cool huh!"
"Yeah it was a lot better than I thought it would be...I'm just glad I got to spend that time with you!" you replied, your face breaking into a wide smile. Bokuto's amber eyes widened before he too began smiling.
"Me too!"
