The creature

The fateful night

The scream of fear echoes in my room.
"Help me!" My little brother screams.
The call of my name of my parents still roams the rooms.
"Persona-ombra!" The distant screams of my parents. Calling my full name.
I run, running through the hallway. Following their screams.
I open the door, as I step in a puddle of blood.
The face of my little brother, his eyes covered in fear. A puddle of blood surrounding his body.
My parents hugging each other on the ground..dead.
But a creature was there that night. A person, who looked like a shadow. Smirking.
Hovering over their bodies.
But the creature was just like a shadow, except his hands.
The hands covered in red..
I stood there..shocked. Scared. Horrified. Sad. Angry.
I stood there..with mixed feelings.
The shadow person rising from the ground.
I took a step back.
"Stay away from me!" I yelled in fear.
The creature stopped. Stopped smirking, but looked sad.
"It's okay, I won't hurt you." The creature's voice screeching.
I had my hand on the door knob. The only people I grew up with is laying down..dead.
"What did you do to my family!" I yelled not knowing what I was saying.
"Oh, these things. They're thieves. Don't trust them." The creature smiled.
"Why are you he-here?.." I asked with fear.
"To come talk to you." The creature smiles coming closer and closer to me.
"Stay away from me!" I screamed as high as I can.
The creature's smile soon faded away.
The creature faded away..

I looked behind me, and I realised the door.
The door was gone.
I grabbed my phone, trying to call the police or the ambulance.
But I could not..there were only photos of the creature.
The name under it called 'shadow people'.
I looked around, looking for a way to escape.
No windows were in this room or any other door.
I stayed up all night, trying not to look at my family.
I woke up tired.
Hoping it was all just a dream.
three days have passed
I'm starving, in the same room.
My sight fades. Until I looked up and I saw it again.
"I can help you." The creature screeches.
"I don't need your help." I mumbled.
"Are you hungry?" The creature asked.
"No, I'm not! Stay away from me" I yelled.
"Don't talk to me like that!" The creature screeches.
"Just kill me." I sigh. Knowing it is all the end.
I closed my eyes.
"Here". The creature smirks.
I see a cheese burger. But I turn around.
  "Stubborn thing are you. Look what they did to you!" The mental screech heard.
I ignored the screech of the horrible monster.
The screech rises higher and higher.
I turn back around.
The monster was spinning again and again slicing the building in half.
"Stop!" I yelled.
I started to eat the cheese burger.
The creature stopped and smiled.
The creature made me a bed. And a chair.
"What's that for?" I asked.
"I will sit here every night watching you sleep." The creature smiled.
Night soon came and I layed on my bed.
The creature watched me the entire night.
"What is your name?" The creature asked.
"Persona-ombra" I shrugged.
"May I just call you Po?" The creature asked.
"No." I said firmly.
"You do know what your name means..right?" The creature laughed.
"No." I said.
The creature laughed
"You're Italian." The creature echoes.
"No I am not." I yelled.
The creature pointed at an old picture frame of an old lady.
"Her, she is your grandma..she is Italian" The creature smirked.
"That is not ours. That was there when my family and I moved here." I told the creature.
"I put that there." The creature smirked.
"Does that mean you have been-" I got interrupted.
"Yes, I have been here. Watching all of you's" the creature proud of what it has done.
I was shocked.
"And your name is Italian." The creature said.
"What!" I asked shocked.
"It says 'shadow person' in Italian." The shadow person intrigued.
"And that old lady in the picture frame...is me." The creature looked straight in my eyes. But it had no face, but a mouth.
