I ran out of the classroom and went back to my locker. I grabbed my books and rushed toward Chemistry class. I walked in and Mrs. Sulken raised a brow and scolded me for being 35 minutes late. She then looked me up and down multiple times, she stopped and looked above me, she froze, and then warmly smiled, and kindly told me to go to my seat. I looked at her and read "6 years, 8 months, 45 days, 5 hours Cause: Stroke". It made my stomach churn when I read it. I walked to my seat and collapsed into my chair and waited for Mrs. Sulken to resume class. When she began to talk my eye lids drooped down.

I woke up in the middle of the lecture with one of my only friends Jayden lightly tapping my shoulder. I smiled and rubbed my eyes. My eyes shot toward the clock 9:45, I sighed. I looked over at Mrs. Sulken typing on her computer and then at Jayden I asked him what we were supposed to be doing, he told me that she was giving us free time to study our notes. "What a waste of time", I told him jokingly. He laughed and we started a conversation about why school should not give out homework. RING, RING, RING, I got up and went to the next class. This cycle went on the whole day, the day went by like a blur.

Until Emily, my best friend walked up to me with a worried look on her face and handed me a folded slip of paper. I slowly opened the note and began to read "Izabella we've noticed your date and it's scaring us, we didn't want to tell you this but your date is 3 days, 9 hours, Cause: Murder". I crumpled onto the ground and began to choke on tears. I knew when somebody learned their date it came closer by one day. I had two days to change my date.
