I honestly don't know where I'm going. Sigh, I should of brought a heavier coat and an umbrella. There should be a park nearby. Until then I'm alone with my thoughts. I try to look around but it is raining too hard. I look to my right and settle on a pair of purple eyes. I get startled and jump back. I pick up my pace a little faster. The eyes keep following me, but this time accompanied by long dark brown hair and a swinging noise. By this time I'm running. UGH! It's raining too hard! I can't see anything.

I stop over to a run down abandoned apartment to wait for the rain to slack up. So much for the name Sunny Palms. I sigh and get my phone out of my pocket and start playing a few games. A few minutes later I heard a noise. I look around. "Must be bats," I thought. I went back to playing my game. I then heard something drop. My heart starts racing. It's pretty dark in here .. Well besides the windows that give off light. Even then it's cloudy out so there's no light in here whatsoever. I heard a pair of legs running towards me. "GET OUT," a voice said to me. I reach into my pocket and pull out a pocket knife. I always carry it on me where ever I go. Well except airports. I couldn't see who the person was that was running towards me but he was already behind me. I felt a knife at my neck. "WHO SENT YOU HERE!," he yelled in my ear. At this point I didn't care. I already felt guilty about what I did in my past. "SPEAK TO ME WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU!," he yelled once more. "No one," I said in a whisper. He turned me around to face him.He had curly black hair, hazel eyes, and caramel skin. He took one good look at me and pushed me out of the broken door.

Once out I ran and looked back. He was staring at me. "THIS PLACE IS CRAZY AND CREEPY! OUT OF ALL AREAS MAMA CHOOSES TO MOVE, SHE MOVES HERE!," I thought. I rather be in that creepy house than walking around this neighborhood. A few minutes later the rain slacked up and I could finally see. I think I'm getting closer to our house. As I keep walking I hear a swinging noise. It's the same one from earlier. I pick up my pace and try to ignore the sound. As I get even closer the same pair of purple eyes are staring at me again. Except this time I see a person than just the eyes and hair. She is pale with purple eyes and dark brown hair. This person is accompanied by another person with icy blue eyes but with the same dark brown hair. They keep staring at me. "TAKE A PICTURE! IT WOULD LAST LONGER," I yelled towards them. The icy blue eyed boy went inside but the girl stayed. Her gaze got intense. At this point I'm irritated. I look to the side of her house. OH LOOK WE'RE NEIGHBORS! I grunted and ran home.

Once in I slam the door behind me and slump down against it. "Aria! You're all wet!," my mother tells me. GEE YA THINK? "I know mom," I say. "How was your trip?" "Amazing," I lie. "But why would you walk in the rain honey?" I can't tell her the real reason or she'll think I'm crazy. Instead I shrug and head up to my room. Mother looks at me suspiciously, then closes her eyes to take a nap.

Once upstairs I get a bad feeling in my stomach. My legs turn to noodles as I walk to my room to change. Usually I would never get scared but this house changed me. I get inside my room, closes the door, and takes a deep breath. I can do this. There's a logical explanation to everything that's been going on. I change my clothes to pajamas then I get out a book to read. 20 minutes later I heard a giggle. It sounds like a little girls giggle. I get up and open my bedroom door. I creep down the stairs to see if anyone's at the door. Nobody is there. "I'm going crazy! Maybe it's my past here to haunt me!," I thought. "No that's silly," I said aloud. I did believe in ghosts but was our house really haunted? Going down the hall I saw a dark shadow figure run past me! It causes me to stumble backwards. My heart starts racing again. "HOW AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT SEES THIS?" I yelled in my head. "How come mama is not witnessing this?," I asked myself. I get up from the middle of the hallway and sprint to my room. I hurry to get on my computer and look up facts about ghosts. Just as I'm doing that my favorite stuffed teddy bear falls off of my bed. "Yep it's a ghost," I thought to myself. I put my head down on my desk and try to figure out what I should do. Should I tell mother about this or wait until she has an experience or encounter?
