Chapter 4

The week went by so quickly, next thing I knew I was getting ready to graduate. I had asked Brittany to help get ready, since she lived down the street, and she was going to bail on my graduation day, because she said it was too far. I was so mad at her but she made it up by arranging for Zayn to come to Belize and for me to go with him to San Pedro, for a week. I loved her for that.

“LEXI!” I heard a scream. It was Brittany “Hey!” she said when I came to the door.

“Hi” said.

We went into my room for her to help me. She helped with my hair, and my outfit.

“Lexi, so um, I have bad news for me, but good news for you!” I heard Brittany say.

“What’s up?”

“Well, I’m already missing you, and you look gorgeous in your dress.”

“Britt don’t say that, you’ll make me start crying and thanks.” I said while I gave her a hug. “So what’s really bothering you?”

“I think that I miss him. I sometimes think of him and I start to miss him.”

Brittany had just recently broken up with her three month boyfriend. She was really devastated when she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her. I felt her pain, so I made sure to tell her I loved her.

“Awww I’m sorry Britt.” I said while I gave her a hug. She was not even like my best friend; she was more like my sister. I loved her sometimes more than Zayn.

“There’s nothing you could do, but let’s just change the subject please….”

“Ok no problem.” I said with a smile. “Hey, bet you didn’t know Niall has a thing for you!” I said happily.

“No he doesn’t!!” She said a little shy.

“Someone’s gonna start to blush! Oh wait, she’s already blushing!!” I said in a teasing tone!

After me and Brittany had a couple of more laughs, I was all done, and ready to go.

“You sure you don’t wanna go?” I said in an almost begging tone.

“I’m sure Lexi. Thanks though!” She said in a way to smiling way. I started to get suspicious.

“I better be going home. Gotta start studying for exams.” She said.

“Oh yeah. Good luck Britt.”

“Thanks.”

Five minutes after Brittany left, my mom told me it’s time to go.
