Chapter 13
Alexis’ Point of View
We just had arrived at the reception area where the party was going to be held. Zayn and I went into one of the rooms, where I fixed my makeup from crying a bit during the vows.
“Zayn” I whispered.
“Yes Cupcake?” He whispered back
“I Love you, will all my heart.”
“I love you Cupcake. You're mine; for life and I'll be by your side we are entwined. You’re mine, for life, Hold me until we die, I'm yours and you are mine”
I was blushing. Then I remembered.
“Zayn want will we do, since I can’t drink?”
“Oh yeah, I had forgotten about that. We need to tell something that will be able to keep it a secret and yet help us out”
“We could ask Brittany and Carolee.”
“Ok. Shall I call them?”
“No I’ll call them.”
I dial Brittany’s number. She answers.
“Hey Britt. Have you arrived at the place?” I asked
“Hi, yeah, I just arrived with some of the guest.” She said
“Is Carolee with you?”
“Yeah, she just arrived. Why?”
“Can you two meet me at the dressing room?”
“Um sure, let me get her; will be there in a few.”
“Ok thanks.”
We hanged up, a few seconds later we hear a knock on the door. Zayn goes to answer the door.
“Hey, Britt, Carolee.” Zayn says
“Hey Zayn”
“Hi Zayn” Carolee said
“Hey!” I say
“Hey, hey” Brittany says
“Hey” Carolee says as they both move in for a hug
“So what’s up?” Britt asks
“We have something to tell you, and you can’t tell anyone.” Zayn says
“Alright, what is it?” Carolee asked
“We’re pregnant!” Zayn and I say at the same time.
Brittany and Carolee’s faces were priceless. They were both shocked and happy.
“You can’t tell anyone, as of yet. We just wanted to tell you two know. Our parents don’t even know.” Zayn said
“We plan on telling them and everyone tonight, but they will give me champagne, and if I refuse it right away, well you know how this goes from there.” I say
“So you want us to make sure they don’t give you champagne?” Britt asks uncertain
“Yeah, like instead of them serving me and Zayn, probably you could hand us a drink.” I say
“Ok, so Britt, will give you a glass of water instead of champagne, and Zayn a glass of?” Carolee asks
“No water it will look to plain, um how about bubbling water?” Zayn said in reply
“Ok. Britt we got to do this from them, because I will need some of that bubbling water too!” Carolee said with excitement.
We all looked at her in shock.
“Wait what?” I asked
“Did I ever tell you guys I’m four months pregnant?”
“No, not at all, you just missed that tiny little detail, when we talked!” I said
“Guys I’m pregnant! And the daddy is Billy!” She said so happy.
“Oh, so I’m the only one of the three that is not!” Britt said. “Wait, let me go find Niall so I don’t feel left out!”She said teasingly. We gave her a look at that said don’t you dare. “I’m joking! I am!” She said more serious but still in a teasing tone. “Ok, so I shall say it’s for me, since I don’t like to drink. Ok?” she asked
“Yep” Zayn answered her
Moments later it was time for Zayn and I to walk out.
I heard Brittany announce presenting for the first time being Mr. and Mrs. Zayn Malik. In such a tone that I love hearing it, she said while Zayn and I walked hand in hand into the ballroom. After we walked in Zayn and I danced our first dance as husband and wife. We danced to the song that started it all, Moments, the song when he asked me to be his girlfriend; we were now dancing to it as husband and wife.
As we danced I heard Carolee say for you who don’t know this, this is the song that started Mr. and Mrs. Malik’s journey together. I knew now I was blushing. My friends always knew the right words to say. After we finished dancing, we went to sit down, and right on cue, before any other waiter came to give Zayn and I drinks Brittany, brought them for us. I gave her a smile and she smiled back, just our way to say thank you, without anyone knowing.
Hours passed and everyone was having a good time. Zayn and I danced two more songs together. It was finally time, for us to cut the cake, but before we cut the cake Zayn and I thought it was time for us to give the big announcement.
