Chapter 7

Alexis’ point of view

It was the best night of my life. Since Brittany had her final exams tomorrow, I offered to stay up with her, while she studied. She accepted my offer. Although we weren’t in the same room, we talked through facebook. We had talked for hours now. I was telling her what happened with Zayn, and she was telling me how it went with Niall. She said Niall is cool guy, and that he’s sweet, caring, funny, and charming. I asked her if she would consider going out with him, and she said yes. We ended up video chatting so Brittany could study a bit more while I told her about my night with Zayn. She was very supportive; she listened to what I had to say. We had stayed up until three in the morning.

Seven o’clock the next morning, my mom wakes me up, to get really. Although I had just graduated yesterday, I still had to go to school, to plan prom night. When I reached school, the bell had just rung, and I wasn't able to meet with Brittany before she went to class. I just had to thank her for setting up everything last night.

The week went by quickly that most of it was blur. I could remember me spending time with Zayn, Brittany and Niall joined us a couple of times, but Niall had volunteered to help Brittany study, but we both knew there wasn’t going to be much studying. She had told him, he could help study for Physics and Chemistry since she had already gotten a hundred on those two. He had gladly accepted. I spent most of my time with Zayn, getting to know him, and him getting to know me. We had shared a couple of kisses while we were together. Before I knew it, it was already Saturday, prom night.

I got ready, for prom, I wanted to look good for Zayn. I wore a purple strapless dress. I had my hair loose, and make-up done. It was almost time for Zayn to pick me up. I had asked Brittany if she was going to go, but she said she couldn’t go, because Niall was taking her out for dinner and a movie at his place. I was so happy that Brittany was finally getting over her ex, and Niall had come at a perfect timing.

“Alexis!” I heard my dad yell.

I walked outside to see my dad talking to Zayn.

Zayn’s point of view

I was talking to her dad when she came out looking stunning. I knew she had spent hours getting ready, because you could see the little details were precise. She took my breath away; she looked like a queen, my queen.

“You look beautiful” I told her.

“Thanks.” She said in an angelic voice.

“Um, here this are for you.” As I handed her a corsage for her hand.

“Thank you.”

“No problem Cupcake, anything for you.”

She just blushed. I took her hand was we walked outside to the car. Once we were in the car I kissed her lightly on the lips.

Alexis’ point of view

It was already perfect, the way my dad gave me a look of approval. It was just so unreal. We had danced through most of the night. I introduced Zayn to my friends; some asked how I got so lucky. I told them it was just faith that brought us together. Zayn had asked to leave early so we go chill at his place for a while before he took me home. I told him, I don’t care where we go, as long as I’m with him, I good.

When we arrived Brittany and Niall were watching a movie all cuddled up together, so Zayn and I went upstairs. We were now sitting on the balcony at his place.

“I love you Cupcake.” He whispered into my ear.

“I love you too Sunshine.” I whisper back.

 His mouth is soon on mine. He opens his mouth and really kisses me, just the way I had imagined. His tongue runs along mine.

My entire body is set on fire never having this feeling before. I’ve never been kissed like this before, never had the urgency and burning passion and desire running through me.

He brings his hand to the nape of my neck, pulling my face closer before both hands go to my hips.

His touch has taken over any senses I ever had. He pulls me by my hips closer to him, guiding me to his lap. Never breaking the kiss.

I rest my hands against his chest as I climb over onto his lap. His skin is so hot and his chest is moving up and down from the rapid breathing.

He pulls his mouth away from mine and moves to my neck. His fingers intertwine in my hair, holding there to keep my head where he wants. His burning kisses trailing along my skin.
