Chapter 14

Chance's POV

I walked into the kitchen to get snacks and everyone just stayed quiet and stared at me.

Erika: What happened to T?

Chance: Long story

Erika: I need to know

Chance: If you really cared maybe you would have contacted her to see her but you didn't none of you did so y'all don't really deserve to know why

Anthony: We have every right to know why she's family

Chance: Really family? If she was family to you then you wouldn't have let her walk out, Anthony you were her world and you didn't even care when she left you acted as if she was never even here.

Anthony: Chance...

Chance: save it

I walked upstairs to Tessa's room with food and when I opened the door she was asleep so I laid down next to her and fell asleep.

The next morning 

Tessa's POV: 

I woke up in my bed to the smell of pancakes and for the first time in 2 weeks I actually felt like eating. I went to my closet to get a sweat shirt and grabbed one of Chance's and put it on then went to see if Chance was downstairs. As I walked into the kitchen I didn't see Chance but I saw Anthony he was cooking and he saw me, I immediately turned around and began to walk off.

Anthony: Tessa?

Tessa: What

Anthony: What happened to you

Tessa: Why do you care

Anthony: I care about you more than anything else

When he said this my fist clenched 

Tessa: Why are you lying

Anthony: I'm not

Tessa: If you weren't lying and you really cared about me then how come I haven't see you for 2 weeks? If you really cared you would have begged Jake to let me stay or you would have came and comforted me but you didn't I was forced to live by myself. I cried every night hoping I would get to come back or that someone would come and visit, Anthony I just wanted to see you I wanted to know that you didn't forget about me I wanted to know that you still loved me. But you let me down which I've gotten use to lately because that's all you do is let me down because you only care about yourself!

Anthony: You're right I should have came and saw you,but I didn't I screwed everything up once again and I'm really sorry about that I wish I could go back and change everything I've done to hurt you but I can't. Which means i'll never have a chance with you and I'm sorry for hurting you. I still love you more then anything else in the world and I will wait as long as it takes.

I began crying, he walked over to me and hugged me I didn't do anything I just sat there and cried. After awhile I quit and he gave me some pancakes and I ate some. Then Chance walked into the kitchen 

Chance: Tess you're eating

Tessa: Yep

Chance: That's an improvement

Tessa: mhm

Chance: You ok

Tessa: I've been better

Chance: It's going to get better I promise

Erika walked in and ran over to me and hugged me 

Erika: Aw T I'm so sorry for not being there when I should have been. I'm sorry for treating you like crap and I honestly feel awful and I hope we can be close again.

Tessa: It's ok Erika, I shouldn't have been the girl your ex cheated on and I'm sorry for that

Erika: It's ok and he's still my boyfriend

When she said that my heart shattered into a million pieces and I began to feel nauseous so I ran to the bathroom and through up and Chance ran after me.

Chance: Are you ok?

I shook my head no and ran to my room with him following.

Chance: What's wrong 

Tessa: Anthony said he loved me and said this whole apology and then he said he would wait as long as it takes to have me yet he is dating Erika...

Chance: I'm sorry

Tessa: It's not your fault I should have known what he said wasn't true

Then the door opened It was Anthony

Anthony: Tessa I swear everything I said was true, please believe me I don't know why I'm still with Erika when the only person I want to be with right now is you. You are the most amazing person in the whole world and no one could ever replace you. I don't know why I thought Erika would she's nothing compared to you broke up with Erika and just want to be with you I love you so much Tessa. Please forgive me.

Tessa: Anthony

I ran over to Anthony and hugged him then I saw Erika standing behind him.
