Jane's POV

I paced back and forth in front of the closet while holding two dresses on my hand and another few dresses were being hanged for me to choose from.

I looked at the emerald green, wrap front lace dress on my right hand and then turned to looked at my left hand which I was holding a red satin dress trimmed with a few maroon sequins on the chest area.

As you can see, I was having another battle with myself on choosing which dress to wear. Usually, I would just ask for help from Mary or ask for opinions from Noah. But sadly, Mary is not here. Meanwhile, Noah was busy playing, and whenever I asked him, he would only reply with, "All the dresses are pretty mommy!".

William has told me earlier that they would be having a little company party, actually it is more of a press conference, at the W.W Inc. tower building tonight. I asked him what is the press conference for and his replied was, "Nothing much, I only just decided to do a little press conference a few days ago. It was a last minute decision, really.".

He also told me that every employees of the W.W Inc. will be there, some of his business partners which are CEOs from other large companies were invited as well, and a few journalist would be there too. And the scariest part is, his parents will also be attending the press conference tonight.

So now you know why I was panicking around.

I looked at the various choice of dresses that William has bought for me when we went shopping last weekend. We also bought many new clothes for Noah. I looked at all those sparkling, beautiful dresses and finally decided to wear the red satin dress.

William will be home anytime soon so we could attend the event together. I still have like an hour before the clock strikes to 6 o'clock. Without wasting anymore time, I grabbed my towel and rush to the attached bathroom for a shower. I took a really quick shower and abruptly did my make up.

While putting on a mascara, I walked over to Noah's room. I opened the door to reveal Noah was doodling on his bed.

"Hey baby." I said.

Noah looked up from his drawing and looked at me. "Hi mommy."

"Noah, you need to change. We have to attend an event at daddy's workplace, remember?" I told Noah while struggling to do my mascara. Giving up, I sighed and put the mascara away, decided to do it properly later in the bathroom.

I walked towards Noah's wardrobe and pulled out a new clothes for him.

"Here, can you change into this on your own? Mommy's need to go change too." I told Noah while giving him a proper and neat clothes for him to wear for the event.

"Okay mommy. I can change on my own. I am a big boy!" Noah exclaimed.

I kissed his forehead. "Good boy. I'll be back to check on you okay." I said while walking back towards my bedroom.

I finished my make up by applying a red lipstick on my lips and continue putting on my mascara. I get off my robe and put on the red satin dress. I looked into the mirror and frowned. Something's not right. Then I took out the red heels from inside the closet and put it on. I turned to looked into the mirror again, and this time I am smiling, satisfied with the outcome. I reached for my black purse and put my phone, keys, lipsticks and money in the purse. I checked myself out one last time on the mirror when suddenly I heard sound coming from the front door. I smiled, William arrived just right on time.
