Okay . . . Piper and Jason. Where do I start? They're a mediocre ship. I feel like it's so fragile and delicate. Rick makes it work while reading, but when you honestly think about it . . .
Jason= old Roman praetor who plays by the rules, as strict as they may be. Has a past with Reyna that's pretty vague for readers
Piper= bad Greek girl who stole a frickin car and has used her charmspeak for bad. Doesn't have a romantic past, except a fake one with Jason.
Doesn't it feel like their relationship is all built off of a kind-of throne of lies? Sure, it ends up working, but what if it didn't? That would've caused some pretty serious issues.
And the girl drama. Gods, it's like everyone wants Blond Superman/Golden Boy here, and Piper just managed to catch him at a good time. Who knows what would've happened if Reyna had ignored Aphrodite's love message.
Touching on Reyna, her love life. No demigod will heal your heart. It could be a mortal, a satyr, god, etc. It's not like all guys are just out. Plus, what if she's a part of the LGBTQ+ community? I NEED ANSWERS.
So . . . Jason and Piper. Yay or nay? I'll tolerate it (they have some pretty cute moments and the electric chemistry works), but if someone better comes along - boi baiiiiiii.
That's it for this chapter! Thanks so much for reading!
