I was about to ask Alec a question but my phone rang "Excuse me." He nodded and walked towards Emma. I smiled as Emma hugged Alec.

"Hello?"

"Jess, it's Mack come to my house now I'm freaking out!"

"What happened!"

"Ashton proposed and I said no!"

"Your so dumb! Haven't you two been together for two years?!" She began crying "Yeah, we have just come!"

"I'm on a sort of like date." She sniffed "Finish it. Don't worry I know where the extra key is to your house I'll be there love you and your telling me about this date!" I laughed "Ok bye Mack!"

"See ya. Bring food!"

"Yes ma'm!" I hung up and walked to the blanket where Alec had Emma against his chest as he lay down. It was so much like a father daughter figure. Whoa! What am I thinking?!

"Hey sorry about that my best friend has issues." He looked up and nodded and patted the spot next to him I sat down and lay next to him "I see Emma likes you."

"Ummm Jess Emma asked me a question."

"And that is?"

"If I'm her father."
