Emma woke up with a cold so she's in bed and I'm making her soup. Alec is in school but promised to come straight away to see her. The doorbell rang and I opened to see Lenny.
"Hey lens!" I smiled and he just kept a straight face.
"Hi." He mumbled I raised an eyebrow "Sooo what's up?" He scoffed and sat down
"Your kidding right Jess!" He yelled
"What're you talking about?!" I yelled back "Keep it down Emma has a cold and she's resting." I turned back to stirring the spoon "You were so much better with James." He whispered I rolled my eyes at him
"I'm practically the same me, why is it your way anyways!"
"Cause it's not fair! I don't like that Alec guy!"
"I didn't ask you that."
"Act like you did."
"We'll guess what I didn't, I bet if James were alive and not dead and we where broken up he's be happy I got a father figure for Emma!" My voice cracked and I broke down
"Jess i-"
"Save i-it Leonardo." I yelled
"Did y-"
"I did leave!" He got up and ran and I sat down and cried but got back up when I realized the soup was ready. I put it in a pink bowl with a purple spoon and took it upstairs where I saw Emma sitting up and watching tv
"Hey princess!" She looked up and smiled
"Hi mommy!" She giggled and began eating.
"Wait medicine first!" I poured it into a little cup and she drank it.
"And enjoy!" She helped her with some and then she did some herself.
"Mommy where's daddy?" She said
"He went to school ok?" She nodded and I realized it's time for me to get back to class
"Baby, I need to do some class work and I'll be back." She nodded and I headed to my bedroom and logged back into my online class 'Math' -_-
