"Wahuh?" Was all I could say.
"She's awake!"
Many ponies were in my room, or I think it's my room. I still have blurry vision.
My mom and dad hugged me and I see others in my room, all of the princesses and the five ponies.
I asked. "Where am I?"
"Well," an orange earth pony replied with an accent, "you're in the hospital, sugarcube."
She wasn't wrong, a brown-coated doctor came in and checked me for my problems.
"Can you stand up?" He asked.
I got out of bed and stood up slowly, I was still weak.
He said. "Can you perform magic?"
I conjured a bunch of violet roses (my favorite) then conjured a vase to put them in.
Then he asked the question I never expected. "C-Can you fly?"
I looked at my back, saw the wings and gulped. At least I could try. I flapped slowly then picked up the speed. Gradually, I lifted off the ground a few inches.
I would've flew around and around if I wasn't inside. I then flew down.
"Great," the doctor exclaimed, "you can leave in a few days but you need to rest."
I noticed I was still wearing my necklace from yesterday, I moved it over to see a bandaged burn mark.
"What happened?" I gulped.
"You turned into an alicorn, silly!" A loud and girly light-pitched spoke up.
I replied. "How can that be? I recently had a dream about being an alicorn but I never thought it'd come true."
Then Princess Luna whispered something to Princess Celestia. She said, "If that was a dream, I could be there. I don't think it's dream but a vision."
"It- It was different though."
"Sometimes they don't tell it straight." She explained.
That cleared some things but I still had some questions.
"What did this necklace do to me?" I pleaded.
"I will have to explain from here." Princess Celestia announced. "This necklace isn't any ordinary trinket. The jewel on your necklace is an other form of the Alicorn Amulet. Instead of giving you just alicorn powers, it give you everything.
Wow. "S-so, am I true princess?"
Princess Cadance spoke this time. "We are not exactly sure, but Luna and Celestia have seen this necklace pass down through ages and it never did anything until you kept it."
"If," Princess Twilight Sparkle cut in, "that necklace did react to hee, wouldn't it make her a princess if it 'chose her' to be an alicorn?"
Everybody thought on this and chewed on it over silence.
"We're going to decide this over court if this will be a major problem." Princess Celestia said, "For now, Starshine will need to rest until she can get better."
With that, everypony left except my mom and dad.
"Come on honey," mom pushed. "You need your energy."
Next morning.
"Yyyyyyaaaawwwwwnnn..." I stretched my limbs slowly. Man, I am tired, hungry too.
"Uh, excuse me," I said to a passing nurse. "Do you now where the cafeteria is?"
She replied, "Yes, right down the hall on your left."
"Thanks." I got out of bed but I was still weak from the "incident." The nurse helped me walk down the hall as we approached the cafeteria.
"Thanks again." I said politely.
As I lined up for breakfast, other ponies stared at me not knowing what to do. One pony even let me in front of them. Then it was time for me to order. "I would like some oat meal with cinnamon and some milk, please."
Then I paid five bits to the cashier. "Oh no, no. For you, it would cost nothing."
I insisted but he was a mule so no sense into talking to a stubborn mule. I then sat down to eat my meal until a filly approached me.

Editor's note: I changed what she said when she's in the hospital
(Original) "How can that be? A couple of days ago, I had a dream about being an alicorn."
Woman, you just woke up! You didn't even know how long you were out!
And it's conflicting with this: 'I noticed I was still wearing my necklace from yesterday, I moved it over to see a bandaged burn mark.'
Suggestions
• Don't make Starshine forget what happened! [Seriously, she said multiple times how painful it was when that necklace lit up] If anything, she should be terrified for her life and be anxious of what's going to happen next!
• I think it should be best that Starshine being an alicorn should be kept in secret. I mean, how come nobody knew that the Mane Six did stuff until way later on in the series?
• Also, your misportrayed how hospitals work. Patients can't walk around the hospital, they can't choose which food is delivered to them since it's the hospital has a diet planned out. And the food is part of the bill once the patient is fullg healed, keep that in mind.
