The Wings

Wwwwaaaaaahhhh?

"Where did Starshine go?" Rarity said, the fight was over. The panther fled out of the window and almost everypony was injured.

Twilight said, "I thought she ran away. Did you look outside?"

"Yes! In fact, everywhere!" Rainbow said exhausted.

"High, low, and upside down." Pinkie said disappointed.

Applejack said worried. "Do you think she—"

"No. She would be safe." Bluenight interrupted.

Everyone put on a brave face, but still didn't have any hope left in them.

MEANWHILE...

I wandered around looking for an exit of the cave. All of the beautiful drawings were never ending and they all tell the history of the Wasez. I then saw a chamber up ahead, it was filled with artifacts that could fill a museum.

A statue of a weird looking weasel was in a glass case, swords propped on the walls, a giant picture adorned the dome ceiling. It was a picture of the cheetah that was in the story, her golden eyes seem to twinkle as I looked up. In fact she seemed to come out of the picture!

A golden mist came down in the shape of her body. She landed in front of me and looked like she was inspecting me. I don't know if I should run but something tells me she isn't going to hurt me.

"Indeed I am not." She said in a misty voice.

I jumped when she said that. Did she just read my mind?

"I did so. I can hear what you're thinking." She explained.

Wow, oookay. Can I talk out loud now?

She replied. "You need not ask me."

"Okay, why have you brought me up here?" I asked.

"I needed someone to help me with the never ending war. I know the infected Wasez escaped and attacked. You are the perfect candidate."

"Why me? Why not other ponies who are stronger?"

"Your will is stronger than my muscle and brawn. My echo of myself is dying, I need to merge with the strong so thar I may help. If I merge with you, you will have my form but you can transform between pony and me. My mind will be yours, my knowledge all yours, my soul will go to a better place but I will be with you all the way. Do you understand?"

"I-I don't know. This is too much change." I slumped to the ground and cried. The Wasez walked next to and talked.

"This is what it takes to be a princess and a hero. It is what it takes to save Equestria." She said with emotion. "I know how it feels to have a horrible change, my parents didn't recognize me when I came in to save them. I froze my own kind for the best, now it is your turn to help and maybe the poison will be cured."

She was right, I stopped crying and stood up slowly.

"So let it be." I whispered.

She faced me and chanted in a language I don't know. We were lifted up and her blue heart began to glow brightly. I feel heat overcome me, I felt my body grow and stretch.

"SO LET IT COME TO THEE THY POWER, I GRANT THEE THY POWER. FAREWELL, STARSHINE MOON, I SHALL REST IN PEACE!" She yelled.

She disappeared with a bright glow, I shielded my eyes with my wing. Wait, my wing is huge! I looked at my body and I found out I was the cheetah she said I would be. I also found out I was in my bedroom with everyone staring at me. Uh oh.

"Get it!" Applejack shouted.

"Wait, no! I- oof!" I said as Rainbow tackled me and I got tied by rope with magic by Twilight.

"Wait, Twilight, I am not what you think!" I pleaded, she looked suspiciously at me.

"She looks different from the panther we faced." Flutters said shyly.

"Yeah! Wait, let me show you." I focused on my pony self and I felt myself shrink and transform. I fell through the ropes and stood up, everypont gawked at me.

"Wwwwaaaaaahhhh?" Pinkie said confused.

I told them the whole story and how the cheetah went into me, when I finished everyone was silent.

"That explains a lot." Bluenight broke the silence. "It is the reason why you're having evolution. Your body was toning to the coming transformation."

They thought about it and everypony nodded.

"I want to change again." I said, I thought of the Wasez and I streched and grew. I opened my eyes and looked at myself. I had the mechanical heart and I have the whte feathered wings. I looked at my hooves, well, paws now, I swayed my tail and I felt an instinct to do something with it. Suddenly, a sword appeared at the end of my tail, it felt so light so I swung it around.

"That. Is. Awesome!" Rainbow squealed. "Come on! Try your new wings."

I withdrew my sword and looked at everypony. They all looked excited and urged me to go outside, I agreed so we all walked out into the hall. The guards panicked when they saw me but Twilight explained, they nodded and we got outside.

Ponies got scared and made a Zecora lockdown. (For those who don't know, Zecora the zebra was a castout until they learned of her and became friends) That left me plenty of air space to fly, I flew up and landed on a cloud. My friends watched down below and curious ponies stuck their heads out their windows. I took a deep breath and took off.

Editor's notes: I actually don't have much to say :o

Rather than how visible the cheetah is?? Like, I guess she's like both transparents and blurry, so it's only the outlines that makes her "echo."

Also, how does a sword "popped out" at the edge of a Wasez tail? XD I changed those words to "appeared" to make it sound more pleasant.

And I changed something as well: I added the word "their" before windows since it felt like it made no grammatical sense.

Suggestions:

• Maybe at least explain what blade shows up at the edge of her tail? What is it? A Japanese katana? A grasscutter? A Damascus steel sword? A Greek/Roman xiphos? A kopis? A Rajput Sosun Pattah from 18th century? A dagger? What is it, man?!
