Chapter Seventeen( A Secret that Nekoette holds.)

As Blaze got deeper he saw that she wasn't holding her breath, she looked dead.
Blaze graded Nekoette's hand, swimming up as fast as could. Blaze laid Nekoette on her back. He put his hands together and started to pump on her chest. After doing this for some time he stopped and looked at her. He put his knees to his chest and placed his head between his legs, he was crying.
Nekoette's P.O.V
I woke up to coughing out water, it tasted really gross. I tried to sit up but my chest hurt really badly, but I forced myself to sit up. I tried not to think about the pain because it only would make it worse. Once I sat up I heard someone crying, it wasn't loud nor quite. I looked at the direction of the sound and found Blaze crying, he had his head between his knees and arms wrapped around his legs.
Neko: Blaze?
Blaze: .......
He was too busy crying to hear me. I got on my hands and knees and started to crawl to Blaze. I sat in front of him with my ears and tail out, hoping that he'll notice me but he didn't. He was mumbling to himself about something being his fault.
Neko: Blaze why are you crying?
Blaze: Great now I'm hearing voices.
Neko: Blaze...
I reached out onto his hand
Neko: Blaze I'm going to say it again why are you crying.
Blaze finally looked up at me and his eyes widen at the sight of me. Blaze longed forwards to hug me, it kinda caught me off guard when he did that.
We were now sitting on our knees and his tail was wrapped my waist as was mine on.
Blaze: I thought you were dead.
Neko: Why would I be dead?
Blaze: Nekoette do you remember what happened to you?
Neko: No....what happened?
Blaze: You went down a water slide and ended up in a deep pool.
Neko: Now I remember what happened. I was trying to explain to Ghost that I can't swim but, before I could say that he pushed me down the side.
Blaze turned his head to ware he wasn't looking at me anymore.
Neko: What's wrong?
Blaze: I....I was scared to lose you Neko.
He said with a shaky voice.
I put my hand on his cheek to make him look at me.
Neko: I won't leave you Blaze. Even if you wanted me too, I wouldn't listen to you. I would stay.
We sat there for a few minutes looking at each other eyes. Blaze put his hand on my cheek and brought our heads closer. He looked into my eyes deeply, he seemed to be lost in them. Until I connected our lips, Blaze instantly kissed back.
Blaze's P.O.V
I put my hand on Nekoette's cheek and brought our heads closer. I always loved to get lost in her eyes. After about three minutes I was snapped out of the trance by Nekoette fully connecting our lips together. She wrapped her arms around my neck and her tail was starting to wrap around mine.
I put my arms around her waist which made her tense up a bit but, she soon relaxed into my arms. We both pulled back by the sound of footsteps, we pulled out of each other grip.
Inu: Nekoette!
Inuyasha came running towards Nekoette, giving her a hug.
Tate: I am so glad you're alive.
Ghost came walking over to us with a ice bag on his left eye.
Blaze: What happened to you?
Tate: I punched him in the face.
Ghost: I kinda deserve it.
Inu: Yeah you did.
Neko: Well maybe that will teach you not to push people onto a water slide.
Ghost: About that.... I'm really sorry. I should've asked you and waited for you to finish what you were going to say.
Blaze: Let's just be happy that's she's alive.
I looked at Nekoette and she looked at me, we both had a blush on our faces.
Tate: What's up with you two?
Blaze&Neko: Nothing!!!
Tate: Okay geez, no need to yell.
Ghost: Can we go home now. My face really hurts right now.
Inu: Yeah we can go, I'm pretty sure that Nekoette is never going back into a pool again after what just happened here.
Neko: And you most certainly right.
Tate: Let's go guys. The traffic is horrible at this time of day. 
Inu: He's right we need to head out now.
We all headed for the car after grabbing a few snacks for the road.
Inu: Hey Nekoette?
Neko: Hmm
Inu: Was there a lifeguard there to give you CPR or something?
Nekoette looks at Blaze and blushes.
Neko: I don't know. I was passed out and when I woke up I found Blaze next to me.
Inu: Remind me to call this place in the morning ok.
Neko: (smiling) okay.
Tate: Hey when do you two graduate?
Inu: We graduate next year.
Ghost: Going to the same school next year?
Inu: No, we're going to do online schooling.
Tate: Why? I thought you guys liked it there?
Inuyasha looked at Nekoette, she crossed her arms and looked down.
Inu: Can I tell them?
She shook her head side to side still looking down at the ground.
Neko: Sure... go ahead.
Inu: Okay. So the reason why we're going to finish online school is because of fighting.
Tate: What do you mean by " fighting"
Inu: Well you see Nekoette got into a lot of fist fights. It started in our second year of high school, all the way up till now.
The last fight she got into was with a boy but, instead of them fighting he hade one of his friends fight her. He was an alpha and extremely strong. She got a few hits in But...
He looked back at Nekoette who was clutching her fits
Inu: She ended up in the hospital for a month and a half.
Tate, Ghost, and I all stoped and looked at Nekoette in shock, they stopped as well.
Tate: Why didn't you tell me?
Blaze: How bad were your injuries?
Nekoette stood there for a moment.
Neko: I wanted those years to be a secret, so people wouldn't worry about me being injured so much.
With that she started walking again, Inuyasha looked at and motioned us to walk as well. Ghost, Tate, and I look at each other and started to walk.
Ghost: does she have any scars?
Inu: Yes, But most of them don't show up that well. If she moves her long hair you can see a lot on her back.
Tate: Is that why I never see her put her hair up or to the side.
Inu: Yeah, She sometimes tenses up a bit when you touch her back. But who can blame her, I still sometimes get nightmares from watching one of her fights.
Ghost: You watched one of her fights!?!
Inu: Yeah. I tried to stop her but it was too late, she already punched the guy in the face.
Blaze: At least you tried... right?
Inu: Right.
Neko: Hey guys when we get back we need to make a list to go shopping tomorrow.
Inu: Okay! We'll just order a pizza for tonight how does that sound?
Neko: Sounds Great!
