Chapter Nine ( Are you here to stay?)

Nekoette's P.O.V
I sat there waiting for an answer.
It was silent for a moment but, it got interrupted by thunder.
Great. More thunder to add to the lightning.
I could tell he was a bit afraid to tell me, because his tail was trembling a little.
I clinched the sleeve of his shirt more tightly.
???: My name is.....Blaze
I shifted myself so that I was on my knees facing him. A car went by slowly, probably because of the rain. As it went by I got a more clearer image of him.

He has red hair,one green eye and one blue eye. He has black ears and tail, he has a fang that sticks out of his mouth. He's wearing a white short sleeve shirt, with a red flannel that is rolled up to his elbows.
He has on black jeans that are ripped in some places. He also has on brown boots.
My eyes widen as I saw him, he just smiled and opened his arms. I was going to move forwards to hug him, but he had already took ahold of my hand and brought me into a hug.
Neko: You reminded me.
Blaze: Why would I never remember you?
Neko: Because it's been six years since I got to see you.
Blaze: When I left, all I could do was think about how sad I was to leave you. I've been trying to find you since last year, one because I just needed to see you again. Two I'm not allowed to go to my school anymore, and I'm not allowed to go home.
Neko: What happened? Why aren't you allowed home? Why aren't you going to school?
Blaze: I got into a fight with a group of werewolves. And they were all sent to the nurses office, and of course that wasn't the first time it happened. My mom and Dad said if it happens again, I'll won't be able to come back home.
Neko: Why did you fight them? Your so loving and caring about everything.
Blaze: They heard me talking to someone about skipping school, to come and find you.
They came over to me saying that you didn't want to see me, and they said horrible things about you. I walked straight up to the group leader and punched him, there was a teacher around at that time. He sent me to the principal office and sent the boy to the nurse,
The principal sent an email to my parents and gave me detention. The second time it happened there were no teachers around so they came at me, talking about you. I...I just lost my temper and hurt the entire group.
I didn't mean to hurt anyone!
I looked up to see Blaze crying. His tears were falling down and landing on my face.
I sat up to where I was sitting on his lap, he just looked at me crying.
Neko: I know you didn't mean hurt anyone. You were just angry at them, and lost your temper. That's all.
We both looked at each other's eyes deeply.
Blaze: But I put them in the hospital Nekoette! I'm a monster.
Neko: You said that you sent them to the nurses office. Not a hospital.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw his hands slowly turning into a fist.
When I saw his mixed emotions I didn't know what do. So I just hugged him tightly.
Neko: Blaze you're not a monster.
Blaze: Neko....
Before he got a chance to say my name, I kissed his cheek. Sending a light blush onto both of our faces.
I got up while pulling Blaze up as well. I gestured towards the the couch, Blaze saw the couch and decided to lay down on it. I sat down on the edge of the couch, right next to his torso. I sat there for what seemed to feel like a minute, before he put me on top of him. Like I said before he's pretty buff.
So he could handle me laying on him.
Neko: Blaze?
Blaze: What is?
Neko: How are your wounds?
Blaze: there fine. It'll heal by tomorrow.
Umm....Neko?
Neko: ......Ya?
Blaze: Is this position ok to you? I mean.., I could always just lay on the floor. If you're not ok with this.
Neko: Hm? Oh this is fine. I want to be as close to you as possible.
Blaze: Me to Nekoette.
I looked towards the clock that was on the table next to us. It read 7:00.
But it's still pitch black out side?
I thought to myself.
Blaze: It's suppose to be like this all week.
Neko: Great. An inter week of fear from a thunder storm. Hey Blaze you have no where to stay at right?
Blaze: Yup. I've been just sleeping out side.
Neko: Well I have a treehouse out in the backyard. And no one ever uses it so I thought that you could...
Blaze: So you thought that I could stay there? Am I right?
He said with a smirk.
Neko: Well ya. If you don't want to that's fine. I'm not forcing you.
Blaze: No! I'll gladly take the offer. But don't your parents hate werewolves?
Neko: That's why you'll be staying in the tree house. I put a two red beanbags along with some other stuff up there.
Blaze: So you're the only one who go's up there?
Neko:Yup. That's why it's totally safe.
Blaze: Cool, I guess I'm staying in a treehouse.
Neko: Yay. I said tiredly.
Blaze: Remember when I told you that I would tell you my name if you get some sleep
Neko: Ya I remember. Why you mention it?
Blaze: Because we're laying down and I...
Nekoette fell asleep.
Blaze's P.O.V
Before I could finish my sentence she already fell asleep.
Blaze: I new she was tired.
A blasting sound of thunder and lightning came down, making Nekoette curl up even tighter than before.
I decided to hug her and kiss her head.
That's when I started to think.
Blaze: Did Neko kiss my...cheek?!?
The thought of that made me start to blush.
I think she heard me in her sleep because she blushed as well.
After sitting there petting her head I just went to bed thinking
" Did she really kiss my cheek?"
Tate P.O.V
I felt something warm running down the side of my face, realizing that Ghost was drooling on me.
I quietly got out of bed and wiped the side of my face off.
Tate: Does he really need to drool all over me? Like seriously man.
I found myself looking towards Nekoette's bed. And finding Inuyasha snoring.
Tate: Wait wasn't Nekoette sleeping up here to. Or.... did he eat her? No I don't think he would. Would he?
I went to one of the bathrooms from upstairs, to get the sticky off of me.
Tate: Great the powers out. I guess I have to use a water bottle then.
As I was walking down the stairs I smelled Neko's sent. But there was another one.
I fallowed the sent into the the living room, I found Neko on top of some boy sleeping, the boy was sleeping as well. After a minute of looking at them I started to smell something rather odd.
Tate: Blood?!?
It's coming from the strange boy.
Well I hope InuYasha doesn't find them like that. Or he'll kill the boy in first sight.
Tate: (sigh) You're lucky that I'm not gonna tell your brother Neko.
I took another look at the boy, his eyes were open this time.
Tate: You're lucky I'm not going to tell her brother about this.
Blaze: ?
Tate: If I was you, I wouldn't want him to find us like this. He's very protective over his twin sister. Just letting you, and another thing. No one has gotten that close to her, she won't even let her brother put her on top of him.
Blaze: Thanks for letting me know.
Tate: Don't think nothing of it. I just don't want someone she cares about get hurt.
Blaze: Got it.
With that said I started my way upstairs to put a movie on. But before I was out of earshot I heard him say something.
Blaze: You do really care about me....I love you Nekoette.
My ears shot up and my eyes widen, but then I relaxed myself and a warm smile appear on my face. And walk away.
I walked into the room and noticed InuYasha  awake on the bed.
Inu: were is Neko?
Tate: She's in the bathroom.
Inu: Ok. Is it thunder storming out side? Tate: yeah? Why?
Inu: Because Neko is terrified of thunder and lightning. 
Tate: Oh. That's why she has headphones on.
Inu: Well that works to. Say do you want to watch a movie? 
Tate: Yeah. I was just about to anyways.
Time skip
Inu: Hey I'm gonna go check on Neko. It's been an hour since she's been in the bathroom.
Tate: Maybe she went down stairs to eat something?
Inu: Your probably right.
Tate: When aren't I?
I said with a smirk.
Inu: Yeah yeah what ever.
He said when rolling his eyes.
InuYasha's P.O.V
Inu: I'm still gonna go check though.
Tate: What ever man
A big thud came from downstairs.
Inu: What was that?!?
Tate said something under his breath.
Tate: Maybe it was just one of your cats.
He laughed nervously.
Ghost: Can't you tell that's he lying to you?
Tate: N... No I'm not!
Ghost: Yes you are. You can tell by your voice changing and the sudden laugh you did.
While those two were talking I made my way downstairs to the living room.
I found a werewolf hovering over Nekoette in a dark room, and no body was around to see.
Inu: What is going on here!
I said trying not to rip someone's throat out.
Blaze,Neko: It's not that it looks likes!
The boy got up while picking up Neko and setting her on her feet.
They were oddly close to each other.
Neko: InuYasha, this is my best friend Blaze.
Blaze: Hi! It's nice to meet you.
He said sticking his hand out.
I took his offer and shook his hand.
Tate and Ghost both came downstairs to see an awkwardness between me and my sister. And also the stranger or umm Blaze.
Tate: I tried to stop him from coming down here. But I don't think I'm much help.
Neko: When did you come down here?
Blaze. When you were sleeping.
Neko: Oh. That makes sense.
Inu: Okay so Blaze why and how did you get into are house?
Blaze: Well I was trying to to find Nekoette, and I picked up her sent here. I saw a light on and that's when saw her on the floor crying and shaking. She couldn't move.
So I came inside to comfort her. Before she new it was me the power went out, and I asked her a few questions and she asked me a few question as well. After that we sat on the couch and fell asleep. Then she woke up from falling off the couch, and she brought me down as well. And that's when you came down.
Inu: How long have you been here?
Blaze: Since 4:44
Inu: Neko how come you never told me about your friend?
Neko: Well at the time he was very shy and not good around people. But he is now!
Blaze: Yup.
He blushed when Neko put her arm around his torso.
Inu: Fine. I won't kick him out. How long is he staying?
I said in an annoyed tone.
Neko: He's staying until the family gets home. And he's not leaving, even if you told him to. I wouldn't let you.
Inu: What ever. Who's hungry?
Everyone shook their heads yes, InuYasha went into the kitchen to make everyone a sandwich for brunch.
