Chapter Four

InuYasha's P.O.V
We were only a few blocks away from home, and since it wasn't raining ether we decided to walk home. It was very quiet which is unlikely for this time of day.
Inu: So Nekoette, do you think we're gonna get in?
She looks at me and smile, but with confidence in her eyes.
Neko: Why yes I think we're going to, only because we tried our best.
We look at each other and smile. On the way back home we made Conversation about random things until we reached home.
When we reached the house the lights were off witch was strange.

Nekoette's P.O.V
When we reached the house, I thought to myself " why are the lights off?"
As I opened the door to the house the lights turned on,and everyone yelled out surprise!!
Me and InuYasha looked at each other
Neko: What's all this for?
Inu: Ya. It's not even are birthday?
Mom: Well once you read this, you'll know why we set this up for you two.
I took the paper my mom was holding and looked at it with InuYasha
We both scanned it over and that's when we looked at each other and smiled brightly.
Inu&Neko: We got in!!!!!
Neko: wait weren't we supposed to get this tomorrow morning?
Lee: Well you both have higher levels than the others in your class.
Inu: Wait when did Lee get here?
Neko: Ya. Wait you know where we live?
Lee: Well you see when you filled out the paperwork to come to class, you both filled out your address.
With that said me and InuYasha went over to Lee a hug. Which was kind a funny because we haven't had a chance to take a shower.
It was about four hours later when Lee left the house. He had forgotten about the cake he had brought, so me and InuYasha had a late night snack. Which ended up just being InuYasha eating the cake.
Inuyasha's P.O.V
When I got done eating the delicious cake, me and Nekoette went up stars to get ready for bed. Which is are favorite thing to do after a long day. When we got into are beds I looked at Neko to say good night. But when she hit her pillow she was out like a light. I just laughed under my breath and turned out the lights, falling asleep instant.
The Next Morning
I woke up not being able to move my body. That's when I remembered what had happened last night, about Neko.
Yesterday Night
I woke up to a screaming sound. I looked over at my sister who was holding her knees up to her chest wail sobbing silently to her self. I sat up to get a better look.
Inu: Nekoette...did you have bad dream?
She looked at me and nodded yes. I got up from my bed and went towards Neko, and turning on a lamp. But the lamp was dim, it looked like it was going to go out at any point in time. As I sat down on the bed I slightly picked her up and almost put her entirely on me. We both hugged for about twenty minutes, until I noticed that she was starting to doze off. When I looked at her face it was red and puffy from the crying.
Inu: Do you want me to sleep with you  tonight?
Neko: Yes...please.
When we got comfortable the lamp went out, making a sound. It made me jump a little bit, when Nekoette noticed the sudden movement she giggled which made me smile.
Back to the Morning
I got up carefully not to wake up Neko. When I turned around to face her the blanket fell off the bed. That's when I realized that she sleep like a werewolf. She was curled up on her side just sleeping. For some reason my mind pitched her with wolf ears and tail. But I just took that thought out of my mind and put the blanket back on Nekoette.
I walked over to are computer to read a email that the principal sent us it read.
Dear students
I know that the last day of school is next week, but do to some problems we will be having no school this week. So do to that, yesterday was your last day of school. I just wanted to say that I hope to see you all next year have a great summer break.
Inu: Well I'm going back to sleep.
When I looked at Nekoette she was tossing and turning in her sleep. As I slid under the blanket and got comfortable, she started to pull me closer wail hugging me. As if her life depended on it, her nails were digging into my side as she was crying. But this time I think she was half awake, she started to open her eyes. But the realized that she had made bleed by how tightly she was holding on. She quickly sat up and started to cry.
Neko: I'm so sorry InuYasha I didn't know how tight I was holding onto you.
Inu: It's alright you didn't mean to.
Neko: It's just...when I woke up and saw you that you weren't
She started to cry even more before finishing her sentence.
Inu: you're ok every thing is ok. When you saw me I wasn't what?
Neko: you weren't...dead . That's when I realized that it was just a dream, and not real. But I'm still sorry for making you bleed.
Inu: seriously it's fine. I'm ok Neko really.
I gave her a smile. That's when it hit me I'm wearing a white shirt and I'm bleeding.
Neko: Can I at least help clean the cuts. It will make me feel a lot better that I helped.
Inu: Fine. But I need to get rid of my shirt before Mom or Dad sees the blood.
Neko: Ok. Let's go to are bathroom then.
Nekoette's P.O.V
After at least fifteen minutes later, the cuts were cleaned and covered.
Neko: Wait! Don't we have school today!?!
Inu: The principal set everyone an email saying that we're done with school.
Neko: Cool! But did Mom still make her famous pancakes.
Just as I said that I could smell them. But it took InuYasha a few minutes, but his eyes lit up with excitement.
Neko:Race you!
As I said that I ran out of the room.
Inu: Hey that's not fair! The bandages are new so I can't move that fast.
Neko: I know. I just want to get some before you do. And I wanted to make a computation
I said that with a smile and put three pancakes on my plate.
Mom: I swear you should have been a boy instead, with this stomach of yours.
Neko: Hi Mom!
Mom: InuYasha sweetheart, are you ok. Your moving slowly today.
Inu:Um...Nekoette had a nightmare last night so I laid with her and she was curled up into my back all night. Ya that's it!
InuYasha said with a "I'm not lying" face.
Mom: Okay then? Don't forget that you two are staying home all by yourselves. For at least four weeks or more.
Neko: Why are you leaving again?
Mom: we're all going to a fish traveling event
Neko: Oh...so me and InuYasha can stay here
Mom: Yep! But no party's and you may have some friends over when we're gone ok.
Inu: Ok. But they can't spend the night right.
Mom: we'll see by tomorrow with that choice.
