Lance slid his phone back into his jeans pocket as a car slid across the driveway leading to his house. He quickly grabbed his personalized 'Lance' backpack and ran towards the car.

"Get in loser, we're going shopping." His friend, and Twitter famous girl, Pidge hollered. Behind Pidge was Lance's other friend, Hunk.

"Alright Katie, ugh!" Lance mimicked as Pidge growled. A small chuckle came from Lance and Hunk.

Lance quickly opened the door to the rusty, green Honda and hopped in, slamming the car door behind him. Hunk gave a friendly smile towards his way as Pidge started to drag the car out of the driveway.

"So, you excited?" Hunk asked as Lance looked towards his direction.

"Totally. I can't wait to see the Voltron team." Pidge answered back almost immediately. Hunk chuckled once more.

"How about you Lance? I heard that you'll meet your internet friend.." Pidge asked after a few seconds. Lance blushed as he remembered that time.

Ah yes, Lance had an online friend for the longest time. It wasn't until a few years later that they revealed who they were. Lance ended up being best friends with one of the people from Voltron, which was Keith. They were beyond happy and still keep in touch today. But this is the first time they would meet face-to-face.

"Uh.. Yea I'm excited. A lot of good animators are gonna be there so I'll check out their panels." Lance spoke after a long period of silence. Pidge and Lance exchanged glances before responding.

"Don't be nervous, Lance. He's just as shy and nervous as you right now." Pidge responded first and Lance's face softened slightly.

"Yea, you'll be fine." Hunk replied. Lance gave a smile towards Pidge, then towards Hunk and they both smiled back. They continued some small chatter throughout the ride.

"Shiro, I'm not ready!!" Keith cried as the brothers walked out of their small apartment complex, along with their friend Allura.

"You'll do fine, babe. Lance is just as nervous as you are." Allura spoke softly as she placed a hand on his shoulder.

"But he's famous! A-And..."

"You are too, Keith. It won't be that big of a problem. Plus, we landed in the same hotel." Shiro continued as Keiths face turned even paler.

"WHAT!?" Keith yelled as stepped back, nearly tripping.

"That's the way it happened. At least you'll see him often!" Allura reassured him as Keith started to get up from his "fall".

Keith felt an arm around his shoulders as the slightly taller, sepia-skinned female named Shay approached him.

"We are just as excited to see him too!" Shay spoke as she gave him a dorky smile. Keith smiled back.

"Now cmon, we need to get to the car. It takes us a while to get there, remember? We have to take a flight." Shiro replied as he slid into the driver's seat of the car.
