I was in the commons, waiting for Leo. He wasnt at school today but that doenst mean he wont come, right? I checked my phone, looking for a text. Danny walked up to me, "Hey, Tim. Wheres Leo?" "I dont know. I havent heard from Leo all day.." "Worried?" "Yeah..." "Dont be. I remember when me and him hung out this happened all the time. He stays home and sleeps" "Oh... Well I guess I wont worry then." I lied to Danny, worried sick about Leo. He better be okay..
After around three hours we got everything set up for the dance. "We did a good job team!" Danny said to the group of people that helped. I didn't know anyone so I just smiled and went to the hallway to call my mom. Danny, of course, followed me. "Hey, Tim." I turned to him, putting my phone away for the time being. "Yeah, Danny?" "I was thinking since the dance floor is already set up and the music is ready to go... That you could dance with me?" I got nervous, not wanting to dance with Danny, I'd much rather have Leo. "U-uhm.." I remember the incident in the hallway. "S-sure." He smiled and took my hand, pulling me to the dance floor. Unfortunately the song changed to a slow one and I had to be close to this guy I barely knew and most definitely did not trust.
"So. You and Leo are close." "Yeah. We're best friends." "We used to be best friends but then I fucked up." "Oh." "Yeah. I kinda miss talking to him." "Yeah?" "He's funny." "Yeah." "...You seem nice. Does he trust you?" "With his life." "Do you trust him?" "Yes." The song wasn't slow anymore so I went to leave, never being good at dancing. "Tim. Can I show you something?" I shrugged, having nothing better to do. "Sure." He grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the bathroom. "I said show but I mean tell. How often has Leo been talking?" "To be honest, way less then usual." "...Have you checked his wrists?" "Why would I do that?" "Tim. He could've started cutting again." "Wait what?!"
