Chapter 46

Ban POV

It's been a while since I've seen her face. I lost track of time since I've last seen her. I have no pictures. I have nothing of her.

Everyday is just a rotating cycle. First, I'll start at the beginning.

After being pushed through the mirror, I landed here  in the 21st century. I landed in an overpopulated place called a mall.

I got a job working as a private fitness instructor because of my weird physical structure. I have nothing to see it in, though. There is no joy for me in this.

I've been looking everywhere to find a source of magic here. I only have my strength and no magic. If there is magic, magic can get me to Y/N. And King and Gowther. I found those two idiots. I'm living with them, and they're ok....

Gowther goes to some huge company and is apparently in some high position but who cares.

King stays home to play video games and sleep everyday since he looks too young to get an actual job. He can't go to school, either. He's been kicked out so many times after being too lazy to do homework. He also skipped classes.

I'm not doing well. At night, I look for magic around the map. I've been to every little place in the city that supposedly said they had magic. No place had magic.

So now, everyday is a rotating cycle. I have to train some needy girl in fitness and every girl always falls for me. I have no eyes for them, though.

I only love Y/N. And myself.

Your POV

You were sitting in a big room with so little place for you. If you stepped further than 4 feet away, you would get shocked.

After you were captured after putting Ban through a mirror portal, you were put into this room to cleanse yourself again.

No way was that gonna work. You missed him. You missed Ban.

You always wondered how he was doing. Did he forget you? Did he suffer from depression? You brought your knees to your chest and hugged them tight. You were so scared because you knew Ban could die any minute and you wouldn't know. You couldn't go on knowing he could be gone.

You cried. Maybe Ban found himself another girl.

Maybe he was glad you weren't there.

Ban POV

I entered into a small hut a couple miles away from the city. An tiny old woman sitting crossed legged on a pillow waved at me.

"I can tell you're looking for magic," she said rubbing her hands together.

"Yeah, I am," I said, standing awkwardly at the doorway.

"You're looking for your dear wife, who is millions of years back in time," she said smiling.

"Yeah," I said, surprised.

"Well then, let's get started. Sit down and I'll tell you everything you need to know. For a price, too," she said gesturing towards a pillow that came out of thin air.

"Ok then," I said sitting down.

"First I'll introduce myself. I am Bobi. I know you are Ban the Fox sin of greed. So, I see you're not from this era, or not yet at least. I bet it took you a long time to find me. Magic is very hard to find these days. Anyways, your future self will be here but he will be very old now. Your immortal magic seeped away from you a while ago so you look 70 while your future self is actually over a million years old!!! I'm way older to be honest, but I used my magic to keep myself to grow slower. If you can find your future self, don't talk to him. You could mess up things really badly. Now, take these beans and go your way. The beans will only last 5 minutes after using them," Bobi said smiling.
