Chapter 23

Your POV

"Hi, Y/N!" King says as you approach him in town.

"Hi, King!" you chirp.

"What do you wanna do first?" King asks as you both walk around town. Right now you were using a Change Reflection spell (sorry the name is really bad) on the people. It basically makes people see you as a different person. The spell was harder if there were more people around.

"Why don't we help people?" you ask. King looks like he was crushed by a boulder.

"I was thinking we could do something else," King says laying on his pillow shoving his face into it.

"Okay, then you can choose! What's do you wanna do?"

"Well......,"

Time Skip

You were both eating cheese sitting on your pillows. You had grilled cheese and King had...... cheese.

"Later we can do lay on our pillows," King says eating his cheese.

"Okay!" you say eating the last bits of grilled cheese.

Time Skip

You and King were lying on your pillows doing nothing.

"This is nice," you murmured watching the bright blue sky.

"Yeah," King says. You spent an hour just lying there staring at the sky.

"King, I need to tell you something,"

"What is it?"

"I'm leaving the seven deadly sins,"

"Why? You can't leave me- er us!"

"I'm too much of a distraction from Ban. He clearly still likes Elaine,"

"Who wouldn't like you though! Ban's a moron for thinking that he-"

"You can't make me leave but you can come with me,"

"Of course I'll come with you? Where are you going?"

"I'm going to the Kingdom of Fiore where Natsu lives. We could join a guild there!" you say (another fairy tail interaction!).

"Can we do that I mean yes we can do that I-"

"I know, you agree,"

"Are you going to tell him. Ban, I mean,"

"Yes,"

"When will you tell him?"

"Right now! It was nice hanging out with you, King!" you say smiling ear to ear floating back to the tavern.

King POV

She said she enjoyed hanging out with me! And she's letting me go with her to that place! But does this mean she sees me as a friend? I watch her float away her H/L H/C flowing behind her. Love sure does make you feel weird.
Ban is an idiot to let Y/N go. Y/N is the nicest girl but what do I know. The wind blows really hard.

That could be Y/N or nature.

Ban POV
I drink and drink and drink.
"You shouldn't drink that much, Ban," Hawk says.
"What do I care, Master," I say with a red face smiling.
"Hawk's right. You really ease up on the drinks," Meliodas says.
"Hi guys!" Y/N says coming in.
"Are you gonna tell him, Y/N?" Meliodas asks.
"Yeah, I am,"
"What does he know that I don't," I say.
"Come outside,Ban," Y/N says dragging me outside.
"What is iiiittttttt yyyyy/nnnnn?" I say. Y/N looks really stressed.
"How do I say this without....?" Y/N says rubbing her temples. The wind blows really hard causing her hair to blow sideways.
"Just tell me," I say.

"Ban, I'm leaving the sins," Y/N says. I'm taken aback.
"But why? You can't leave me!"
"I've told everyone else, you're the last one to know," she says biting her lip.
"No, Y/N please don't leave,"
"Don't try and stop me,"
"Why would you leave?"
"I'm too much of a distraction for you. You love Elaine, I can tell by the way you talk about her," she says looking away.
"No, Y/N," I say grabbing her shoulders making her face me.
"Stop," she says shoving away.
"But you can't just leave us here,"
"I can. Here, you can have this," she says gesturing her hand. A girl appears in my arms. It's Elaine.
"She was being controlled a few weeks ago. She wasn't herself,"
"Why are you doing this?"
"Ban, I said I'm distracting you from your real love. I may as well be some toy. That's why I'm leaving," she says turning away.
"Don't go," I say grabbing her wrist.
"If you really loved me, you would know I hate it when people do that," she says holding tears in her eyes. She walks away from me.
"Y/N!" I say going after her.
"Sound room and freeze spell combined!" she says turning back.
"Don't try to make me stay," she says coldly. I try to say something but she won't hear me. Using Snatch cut me in half. Before Y/N leaves, she turns back to me and turns away.
"Hi, Ban," King says.
"Why would she leave me in this state?"
"It's a little tough love. Can't you see she doesn't wanna leave you?"
"But why would she leave me with ELAINE?"
"If she truly loved you she'd let go of you even if it means hurting herself. Besides, how can she trust anyone who hasn't told her anything about himself?"
"Where is she going?" I ask grabbing Kings collar.
"She doesn't want you to follow her there,"
"What will we do without her smile, her voice, her everything!"
"I'm going with her," King says looking away.
"But-"
"Take care of Elaine and goodbye, Ban," King says floating away.
I drop to my knees and don't let tears fall. Elaine was back and that's all that mattered. But if that's all that matters then why do I feel filled with guilt and misery. And how come I feel different towards her?

You POV
It was sad and hard to leave Ban behind. You cried and cried. What a wonderful King was by comforting you.
"Are you ready, Y/N?" King asked.
"Yeah," you say sniffling. With a gesture of your hand the both of you were teleported to Magnolia Town right in front of Fairy Tail.
"Y/N YOU CAM BACK FOR ME!" Nasty says running towards you breathing out fire.
"Oh dear," you say.
