Guren pinched his forehead as he felt an incoming headache.
I should have left the party early
Sayuri was fast asleep on his back as he carried her back to the main metropolis of the city.
Nearing the area, he didn't dare to slow down when he heard the repeated strummings of a storm's rumbling.
When he finally reached the oppressive building of the army's base, he gently shook her awake. She yawned, smiled drunkenly and promptly threw up, the vomit luckily just missing Guren's uniform.
He sighed then put her down and rubbed her back.
A high pitched giggling filled the seemingly empty courtyard and a lower but equally childish chuckle followed afterward.
Rolling his eyes, Guren knew who made the second noise before he even saw the culprit.

Narrowing his eyes, he wondered who the first voice belonged to.
A mop of golden hair rounded the corner and his eyes widened.
Who?
