Kagami's love

Part 1- The big day

Kagami's POV

The alarm woke me up at 5:30, a lot of people would think that's too early but I'm different. I actually love waking up early, I have lots of time to pick out clothes, eat breakfast etc. but I don't like makeup and that stuff, as I said, I'm different.

5:45
I had changed into my regular red clothes and just brushed my hair gently, then I walked downstairs to the living room where I saw Mama watching TV. "Good morning sweetie," She said with a tired smile. She actually never wakes up this early so I was surprised when I saw her. She noticed my weird expression.

"Oh, yeah I thought I'd wake up early to make you breakfast for your big day."

"Thanks, but it's not like I'm getting married." I jokingly said and sat myself next to her.

"No, but it is your first day of school," she looked at me challenging. "You nervous?"

"No and it's not a big deal." I looked down.

I smelled pancakes with strawberries in the next room and smiled. "Can I eat here?"
"Just for today," she answered. I walked into the kitchen and took three pancakes.

"Our guardians have saved Paris once again, Ladybug and Chat Noir were spotted at the Eiffel Tower earlier this morning saving a young akumatized girl that was kidnapping kittens..." A women said from the TV.

I sat down next to my mother watching "our guardians" being interviewed. It's not that I don't like them because I do. I was once saved by them when I was akumatized and I will never forget when I met Ladybug for the first time. Her comforting smile warmed my heart that day. Chat Noir hasn't really given me the greatest impression yet, though apparently all the girls love him.

"Chat Noir, what do you have to say about this?" The lady on the screen asked him.

"Well, why would anybody want to kidnap kittens?  Like I know we're adorable." He answered cocky. I sighed. He thinks that he is so special.

"C'mon don't you think he is cute? He might be in your age." Mama teased me.

"He is a superhero, it is an important job and our lives are in his hands and he is just messing around," I pointed out.

"Don't forget Ladybug! Our lives are in her hands too." She said. Ladybug.

"You're more adorkable!" Ladybug laughed. I laughed too.

"Isn't she kinda messing around too?"

"What? Ladybug? No, she is different."

Time-skip- 7:45

"Okay, it's time to go now!" Mama shouted from the car.

"Coming!" I answered her from the door. It's time.

Marinette's POV

'I might still make it' I thought while jumping around the buildings. School was a few minutes away but I could make it this time. I stopped at my balcony where I left my bag just in case I'd get late and I detransformed. Three minutes left, shit! This day I had my hair down, a pink dress, a black coat and my usual bag where Tikki likes to rest.

Adrien's POV

'I made it!' Was the first thing I thought when I entered the classroom and my classmates had just sat down. I sat next to Nino as usual with Alya behind my back and Marinette not being here yet, I guess I'm not the only one that's in a hurry. But I can't stop wondering why she's always late.

"Good morning class," the teacher started, "today is a very special day because we have a new student joining our class."

A new student? "She has recently moved to Paris and you should all welcome her with respect." Wait a she?

"Where is she from?" Sabrina asked? "Yeah is she like from Sweden?" Chloe laughed.

"She has been traveling the world, and here she is... I welcome you..."

Kagami's POV

"I welcome you..." The teacher said. Here we go.

I was just about to walk inside when a bluenette ran into the room.

"Kaga-" the teacher started but got interrupted by the girl who fell clumsily to the ground.

The girl looked very familiar. I only saw her from behind but I remembered her blue-night-hair. Two girls were laughing at the front, one blonde and the other had red hair.

"Marinette!" The teacher shouted at her. Marinette. I remembered her, I met her when I was akumatized once and she was the reason why. But when I spoke to Adrien he told me how nice she is.

Speaking of Adrien. There he was, at the front looking at me smiling widely with his perfectly white teeth. He was wearing a jean jacket over a white t-shirt and black jeans. I responded to his smile.

"Oh here she is, Kagami!" Suddenly, all the eyes were pointing at me.

"Uhm, hi?" I asked rhetorical but then everyone else caught me by surprise responding with another 'hi' like a choir.

"I'm very sorry," Marinette came up to me. She didn't have her fencing uniform this time, she was wearing a cute pink dress. Not that I like dresses but it was pretty.

"Oh, don't spill it," I told her and she smiled at me before she went and sat next to a brunette who was laughing at her.

"So, I saw you and Adrien shared some looks." The teacher said loudly so the class could hear and from nowhere my cheeks turned red. I looked over at Adrien who was as red as a tomato.

"What do you mean?" I asked her with as much confidence as I could show.

"Well, do you know each other?" She laughed softly.

"Kinda, I guess."

"Well you can sit next to him."

I looked at Adrien who had a happy smile on his face.
