Part 14- Who is the girl Kagami is in love with?

Marinette's POV

"What a night," I heard my kwami say with a light voice as she flew around my desk. It was 21:56 and Luka had just dropped me off at home and in a few minutes I was supposed to meet Chat Noir for our night patrol. A part of me was a little nervous since we hadn't spoken since Luka got akumatized and Kagami got hurt. It was hard for me to forget the way he reacted to Kagami being unconscious, like he knew her. It might have been a little jealousy too and not just because I am used with Chat Noir only flirting with me but also the night when he approached me on the balcony when I was Marinette. I had realized that he was not only the flirty Chat Noir, but also the sweet selfless guy that's always been there for me.

"Marinette?" My thoughts got interrupted by Tikki reminding me to come back to the real world.

"Yeah right, what a night," I sighed. Everything was just so confusing. I was on a date with Luka but couldn't stop thinking about Adrien.

"I saw the way you two were looking at each other," Tikki smiled comforting at me.

"Yeah I guess Luka is a very nice guy," I said and she looked deep into my eyes.

"I am not talking about Luka."

I knew who she meant. "Adrien is my friend, you know he is, he doesn't feel the same and he never has."

"Marinette I really think he do feel the same way as you. He has for a very long time now and he is starting to realize it. I have been with you guys since you first met and I've seen your relationship develop," Tikki said and I was surprised by her words.

"Everything's too hard. I am in love with Adrien, I have always been but it's been so complicated with his relationship with Kagami. And we also have Luka who I really like and is a great guy that makes me feel happy, then it's-" I started but hesitated for a moment until I was going to say the next thing on my mind, "-Chat. He is my best friend, my partner and has made me feel my best as Marinette and also as Ladybug. And he loves me, at least the Ladybug me, and we almost kissed when I was Marinette so I guess he might like me as her too?"

Tikki just looked at me and took in every word I said. Then she smiled. "Well you are supposed to meet Chat Noir now, you can go and see what happens next."

"You're right. Tikki spots on!"

Chat Noir's POV

As my feet ran without hesitation knowing that every step I took was one step closer to My Lady my mind was so focused on the date that I almost did not recognize the red suit with black dots. The beautiful figure stood on the top of a building looking down at the enormous city, and I felt the speed of my heart rate increase as I got closer to her.

"I hope you're not furr-ious that I'm late M'lady," I said flirty and her gaze turned to me. A wonderful sound of a giggle came from her mouth and I swooned.

"You never get enough of puns do you?" She said challenging.

"I reserve them only for you, meaow-lady."

Did she possibly blush at my comment.

"Well, good that you are here. I take the north this time and you the south?" Ladybug asked rhetorically and started heading towards the north. I was not ready to let go of her just yet though.

"You're going to the north? Did my attendance need you to cool off?" I took some steps closer to her.

"What no!" She said flustered. Usually she would just rub my comments off. She probably realized that her answer seemed like I was correct because she quickly got back to her calmness.
