Part 15- I liked being with you

Kagami's POV
I had made up my mind. I was officially going to tell Marinetti that I like her. Even though I want to fade into the ground and just hide from my feelings I knew that I should approach them, like Ladybug said. It might not be impossible that she likes me, as she is always smiling at me and enjoys my company. Maybe we could be together after all.

It's Monday. The first day of the week. A start of the week. The start of something new. This day we were going on a field trip to the Louvre and maybe I could drag Marinette to a separate room.

"Kagami!" A familiar voice said a few feet away. I turned around to see Alya being enthusiastic as usual and behind her the beautiful figure of Marinette. Alya opened her arms to welcome me in a hug and I accepted but my eyes only sought for Marinette.

"Hi Alya," I smiled at her.

"Hi Kagami, how are you?" Marinette exclaimed when she approached me and warmly hugged me to my surprise.

"Uh, I-I am f-fine!"

My words barely came out. My happiness almost blew my consciousness away but when I could focus again I wrapped my arms around her. I was standing here, hugging this perfect girl and I was happy. I was completely, undeniably, indescribably happy.

"How are you?" I asked and felt that my cheeks were turning pink. I didn't care that she saw me blushing, because I determined to tell her that I liked her later, so why would it matter that I simply blushed a few hours earlier.

"I am feeling good. It was so much fun at the date. I like Luka and all but it was really nice that we could join you guys rather than being alone."

"Yeah, well I liked being with you too," I said and smiled, one of my flirty smiles. Marinette nodded insecurely. Shit. Maybe she doesn't like me. I made her uncomfortable.
But before I had the chance to punch myself she blushed a bit. I made her blush!

"Well I had fun too," Alya suddenly said and I was reminded that she stood here too.

"I'm sorry, next time we will go on a date, all six of us," Marinette supportively told her with a smile.

"Yeah that would be nice, mostly because I want to see Nino in a tuxedo," Alya laughed and we joined in.

"Alya, Marinette, Kagami!" A voice said from behind us.

"I have been looking for you everywhere," the voice said and when we turned around we noticed that the voice belonged to our teacher. "The class is right around the corner and we have been waiting for you."

"Oh-sorry," we all said, smiling innocently at her.

"Come on," the teacher encouragingly said.

As we joined our class we all moved to the Louvre. I locked eyes with Adrien a few times but we never approached each other. Mostly because we had to walk together according to the alphabetical order, which was pretty lame, but it was also because I didn't want to be with him right now. I really like him but I know he feels something for Marinette, like I do and now he is my competitor. Usually we compete in fencing but now we are competing about something much more important and I have to win.

We are getting closer to the Louvre and every step forward is one step closer to winning Marinette's heart. And I always win.

I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING. THANK YOU FOR SO MANY READS, I REALLY DON'T DESERVE IT. But I am so grateful that you enjoy my story. I will try to update frequently but it is difficult because of how much schoolwork I have.
