Pixie woke early the next morning to pack for their adventure to the Coast. Viper woke a short time later to the sounds and smells of breakfast.

"Morning." Said Pixie as he was whistling around the kitchen.

"You realize it's four in the morning right?" Viper grumbled. Pixie just snorted and cracked a strange looking purple fruit into a glass, filling it with juice.

"Well, we have a long ride ahead of us. We may aswell be prepared." Viper yawned as she watched Pixie move around the kitchen as if he were dancing.

"I suppose you're right. Hey what about this assassin Isabelle?" Pixie flipped a rather large pancake in the air,

"what about her?" Viper grabbed the glass of juice Pixie poured her.

"Well are you sure she will be a good addition to the team?"

"I am not sure. She might be that new human recruit that Munk is training to be a holy knight." Viper spit out her drink,

"She is not Harpy! I mean, she could hold her own in a fight but she didn't wield elbow blades or anything. She just shot a bow." Pixie dished up some pancakes for Viper.

"You don't get your vessel until you complete your training. You were an exception because you wouldn't stop whining. I mean, sure she seemed liked a very good warrior but maybe Munk was just waiting for the right time."

Someone knocked on the door, so strongly that it nearly fell off its hinges. Viper dropped a pancake that she had speared with her fork.

"I'll get it, you keep cooking." as she walked towards the door, she drew a knife. Viper reached to open the door. the door flew open, almost crushing her into the wall. She didn't get much time to think before a big man shouted,

"Suckerpunch!" And sent her flying into the wall of their cabin. The large man chuckled, ''Oops, that's not Pixie, heh." Viper spat out blood and slouched on a leather chair that was nearby. Pixie shot a sympathetic glance at her.

"So what brings you here, Cavern?" Viper about fell out of her seat when heard that.

"W-wait, the Cavern? The knight that has the most confirmed kills in Earth's history? Why aren't you freaking out right now Pixie?" Viper was bouncing up and down on her seat.

"Um, I see him like once a month. Anyway, I'm sorry about her. Why are you here?" Cavern had been stuffing his face with food,

"Oh uh, I am here because I was on my way to Godorbal and I thought I would stop by." Pixie glared,

"You mean punch a twelve year old girl and eat our food." Before Cavern had time to defend himself, Pixie slammed the door in his face. "Alright! That was a waste of our time. Go get your gear. We are leaving." Viper shrugged and stomped to her room grabbing a pancake on her way out.

Pixie and Viper left at about noon to meet up with Munk and Isabelle before leaving. Viper waved at other holy knights in discussing war plans in their cabins.

"Dang, aren't those guys ever happy?" She asked Pixie when instead of waving back the knights just frowned at her.

"It is kind of a crucial part of the war right now." Pixie explained. "Basically like a climax. Who ever takes the lead now, will have a high chance in winning." Viper and Pixie approached the big gold gates of Munk's palace of Calaunguinus. Viper saw Leafage sitting on a post nearby and waved at him. When he waved back, Viper squeaked with joy. Pixie nudged her with his elbow, "Hey, let's make a bet." Viper smiled slyly,

"What kinda bet?" Pixie explained that if Isabelle was Harpy then Viper would have to fight weaponless for a battle and if she wasn't then he would do the same. Viper laughed,

"You're on old man!"

When they reached the gates, the guards immediately opened it, knowing that they were going as reinforcements and needed isabelle. Isabelle walked out with a grin. She wore a black cloak and a mask that Munk made her as a gift. She bore nothing but a katana and a bow. Viper stomped on Pixie's foot, "told ya!" Pixie flinched,

"that doesn't prove anything." Isabelle walked up to them,

"Well are we going?" She asked. Pixie realized that this was the first he had ever heard her speak. Her voice was smooth like water. To be frank, he figured it would be kind of raspy do to how badly he had beaten her.

"U-uh of course." Pixie cringed at how much of a jerk he had been to her. Viper had gone over to Leafage for info on intruders in the woodlands. Leafage spoke in his familiar accent,

"None but one Viper." Viper twitched,

"Who?" Leafage did not respond. He pounced off the pole like a cat catching prey. "Well, he's gone." Viper mumbled. She turned to see Pixie and Isabelle having a thorough conversation. She ran up to them, "hey guys!" Isabelle turned to face her. "Whoa! You look much older!" Viper marveled without considering the consequences.

"Yes, Munk put a spell on me to make me look younger so I wouldn't get caught when I assassinated that guard." to Viper's relief, Isabelle did not seem affected by her comment at all. "I have the horses ready, so we can leave at any time." He started to side step away when Viper said,

"Yeah we should probably go, it's a long journey." The three all saddled up, Packing only essentials, and rode off.
