I have been living in my parents basement in Tennessee ever since I left Bailey at the alter. I wonder how she is doing.
I didn't want to leave her ,but I didn't think I was ready for marriage.
Yea, yea I know you are probably thinking you idiot you are the one that proposed. Well I know that.
I am not really sure why I proposed. I think it was because we had been dating since we were juniors so I thought if I didn't do it soon she would leave me.
Yea that is exactly why I proposed ,but I wasn't ready so I left.
"Hey man you okay?" my best friend asked. Ryan has been my best friend since middle school. He was my best man at my wedding and he understands what I did.
"Yea just thinking about Bailey" I told him. "Man she ain't gonna wait much longer, if you wanna go back and make it up to her you gonna have to do it soon." he has been saying that ever since I left and I know he is right I am just afraid of what will happen. "I know it's just.....I don't think she will forgive me." I said.
"well you will never know until you try." he said. he is always like this. Don't let Ryan fool you he is way smarter than he lets on.
I sit back in my chair and think. Bailey don't go e up on me yet just hold on a couple more months until I'm ready.
