You bolted upright from your bed taking a surprised inhale, your whole body in shock, as you were drenched in a cold sweat as you panted heavily. Looking around the room you recognized it as your bedroom.
Was that all a dream?
You asked yourself throwing your feet onto the floor. Walking over to the mirror you saw several bruises on your face.
So it wasn't.
Taking a deep breath you slowly opened your bedroom door, nobody. All that was out there was a dark hallway. You furred your eyebrows together, looking from one side to another.
Stepping out and into the hallway you wondered how long you were asleep. Was it a couple days or only a few hours. But the thing that stood out is that you were in your house.
Taking long strides every noise you heard made you snap your head in that direction, scared that it was him.
Making your way to the kitchen, by the time you were almost there you were running. After your stomach growled you decided that you were hungry.
Grabbing the handle and pulling it open the cold air brushed at your face. Looking at its contents you saw things you didn't even buy. Like kale, or yogurt. And in your freezer was a whole gallon of vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream.
Confused and startled you grabbed a left over hamburger that you were going to eat, but left on the counter.
"What the hell." Slipped from your lips as you put it on a paper plate and shoved in in the microwave.
A minute and thirty seconds could do the trick.
A minute twenty nine.
A minute twenty eight.
A minute twenty seven. You began to feel anxious from just watching your food cook so you started to pace. From one end of the kitchen to the next.
Who's house were you in?
Was that in Sean's house?
Where is he now?So many questions yet so little answers.
But you had bruises on your face, there were some injuries that had scabs over them. But they were bruised, so you must have been asleep for a couple of days.
Taking a deep staggered breath you took the hamburger out of the microwave. It made your fingertips warm but you didn't care. You took it over to your dining room table, where your phone sat in the middle.
Before you left for Sean's it was in your back pocket, it made you confused but you picked it up and turned it on.
Your background was different.
"What the fuck." You mumbled.
Your background used to be a picture of you and your friend, but your friend was replaced with Sean.
Sliding it open the screen glitched a little before returning to normal, making you flinch in surprise.
Opening the messages, Sean's contact was right at the top. Clicking on it you quickly typed:
'Sean, what the hell is going on.'
