Just Another Weed.

You are just another weed in the garden.

You're a weed in my heart.
You're the kind of weed that can look so beautiful.
It's vibrant colors draw me closer to you.
When taking a glance closely you can see all of the details;
All of the colors, the shades, different parts.
You don't look bad, some might even say that you're beautiful.
Your scent gives me a high like no other.
You draw me in as a bee draws to a dandelion.

You are the dandelion.

You hide behind the lie that you're a delicate flower,
That with a single pull you and your very roots can be pulled out of the ground.
And with that single pull that you can die or simply just wither away.
You put up an act, you see.
A dandelion can be plucked. It can be pulled from the ground, it can be damaged.
But the funny part about a dandelion is that it never truly dies.
And the funny part about you is that you never truly leave either.
You're always there in the shadows, your spirit can sometimes seem so absent and then you can so suddenly just pop back into the picture.

A dandelion is a weed.
A weed uses the nutrients around it, essentially killing all that shares the same sources.
It deprives air ways, water, everything.
And once the sources have been used, you finally die off.
But the seeds of the remains eventually start to grow again, and the same process begins as a new body comes to life.

You are a weed.

You draw me in.
You seem so beautiful, so delicate.
You use the people around you,
You use them to keep this bright and vibrant image of you.
You use them to the point that they can no longer feel like their living, but rather that they are dying.
You make people feel breathless. You make people suffocate at the expense of loving you.

And once you've killed the people around you, you do die.
You die until you're surrounded by newer things.
And when that happens, you plant yourself.

You have killed me.

You have sucked my very soul out of my body,
You have chewed it until all the pieces are too small to put back together.
You have broken me.
And you will continue to do the same thing to other girls as you have done to me.

Why? Because you're just another weed.
